Theodora
Summary: There was a time when she had wanted to be a mother, and a time she was one too.
She was twenty and naïve. She hadn't had much experience with people, and there was a guy who took advantage of that. She had been happy that someone finally wanted her, someone wanted Temperence Brennan, the girl without parents. He was pleased with her- until he found someone better, someone prettier with bigger breasts. She wasn't offended, she had actually expected it. Temperence Brennan was a disease everyone would always avoid.
She didn't realise she was pregnant until three months after they broke it off. She had been busy studying and forgetting, and never noticed the signs- until she decided that she was sick of trowing up. She called the father, he refused to acknowledge her.
She spent the rest six months alone, she had no one, not even a friend. When she went into labour no one took her to the hospital, and no one was there to old her hand when she was in pain. And no one was there to see how beautiful her daughter was.
Theodora Christine Brennan was born December 12th 1995. Her mother called her Thee.
For two years she had everything she needed, and for two years she had a little girl who she loved and was loved by, a little girl who adored her and she was adored back. What she gave she recieved back a million times more. But January 19th 1998 Theodora got sick, and just got sicker.
February 4th she was diagnosed with AML.
She lived for four months after her diagnosis. She fell asleep infront of the lion king on the couch and never woke up.
Her father refused to come to her funeral, and she was the only one there.
She had once wanted to be a mother, and once she was on too. But after the loss of her first born she swore to herself that she would never have an other child. She saw the remains of children, killed and forgotten every day at work, and everytime she saw Thee. Then when her father gave her that ring, and sadness filled her as she knew the tradition ended with her daughter.
She travled for hours on her day off a few weeks after Angela and Jack's wedding, and eventually stoped at a cementary.

For a daughter who learned others to love
She put the ring down in the grass, and dug a little hole to put it in, and stood up straight, willing herself to not cry.
"Booth said this would help... Talking to a tomb stone" she sighed "You're dead, and can't possibly hear this" she shook her head and almost walked away, but then changed her mind "It's unfair. You were only two and never even begun to live... I had barely understood that I was your mother" she sat down on the grass because her knee's were far too weak to carry her. "You would've turned twelve this year... " she sobbed suddenly, startling herself "I hate that I want to forgett about you... to pretend that I was not for a moment happy, that I didn't love to wake up at night and check on my baby, that I never was pregnant, and I never met your father" she dried her tears, but they just kept flowing "I can't stop wondering what we did wrong... what caused you to get sick"
She stopped talking, and leaned against the tomb stone and stared up at the cloudy sky.
After hours of sitting there, a man with a suit walked down the rows of tomb stones, but then suddenly stopped and looked at her.
"Bones? What are you doing here?" his face was red and swollen, and she wondered the same. He read the tomb stone, and realization crossed his features. She loved him in that moment. He didn't ask questions, just sat down next to her and stared up at the sky too. No explanations were needed then.
This is my first Bones story, so please give me some feedback. Was it in character or not??
