This man…was mad.

The world was falling apart at the seams, and this man was laughing. Gripping the guidance helm like a seafaring sailor, the strange man who had saved them all…was laughing.

In all truth the stranger had been a saving grace, though a stow a way at best. This was the Titanic, run by the major line of companies from across the galaxy…or one would say a mad cyborg who wanted to collect insurance and put the people who had run it him out of his own company in a bad name's place. But after all the death…all the pain and suffering, the man who had dragged the truth out into the gleaming sun was finding inexplicable mirth. The holes in the massive space craft let in wind and air, its current whipping at them both violently. Alonso Frame looked to the Earth planet below, praying above all hope that the one who was laughing, the Doctor, knew exactly what he was doing.

This has been his first sailing…his first one out of space dock, and what do you know…it had been a complete disaster. Reprogrammed Heavenly Host trying to murder people, getting shot by the captain, and having to deadlock himself upon the ship's bridge…. This was not what he had thought of when offered a "dream job working for Max Capricorn." Stepping to the bay veiwscreen, the young man nearly wailed in terror. The ship was plummeting towards a rather large building…one that would destroy the rest of the Titanic's inhabitants… "Doctor, we're coming in abit fast…"

The wonderful, genius, crazy man looked over at him, twisting the wheel viciously in his hands. Briefly he smiled, locking eyes with the terrified midshipman. Alonso gripped the railing, swallowing hard as time seemed to stretch unbearably out before them. After all he had survived today…he was going to die in a fiery inferno….

Snapping the ship's guidance system, the Doctor bounded up in a leap, focusing all his energy on pulling the ship's nose upwards. "Alons-y, Alonso! Hollldddddddd onnnnnnnn." The space craft shook with a groaning weight, the fragile confines whining audibly against being pushed much farther. Alonso Frame shuddered along with his ship, closing his eyes as he welcomed eminent death…..

"Oh…well…it wasn't that bad..HAHA!" Alonso's eyes flashed open as the Doctor hooted in victory. The very nose cleared the large building, the fullest splendor of the ship seen by all humans as they scattered below in frightened terror. Alonso looked back at the man who had saved them….he had saved them all….

And…he was laughing…..
