Once upon a time, I was trying to write a story... However, I needed morals, tips on how to make a good little story. I knew a bad story was worse than no story at all.
If others had been in my place, oh my, they might have all given up. However, I was mighty and determined! I ate a drink, I drank some food, and then I had an idea. Here is what my idea was.
I walked outside, knelt down, and grabbed a handful of mud. "I can turn this into a brick! The mud is very much like my story, clumpy, mushy, and just waiting to be shaped into a brick." I shaped the mud into a brick shape, then I realized. "Of course. It just needs to be strengthened. A story needs more than shaping- it needs strength for its plot. You cannot have a story without a plot, and you can't have a good story with a weak plot."
I picked some dry grass, and tried to mold it in with the mud. "Ugh. This... takes... power to push the story and the plot together..."
When I had finally succeeded in forcing the grass and mud into place, I realized. "This is all wrong. The mud is too dry, the grass is too short, and I need MOTHERDUCKING CLAY TO MAKE A BRICK, NOT MUD! The story needs to be rebuilt. I must not be afraid to throw away the current story and try again."
I chucked the ugly lump of crap into the grass where it splattered everywhere.
