Title: No Tricks Just Treats Author: Sara Rating: G Archive: Ask first Summary a short Halloween drabble Disclaimer: I don't own them and I never will

She looks so cute dressed in her butterfly costume I can't help but stare. When she walks, she dances. Her beautiful brown eyes are always questioning me and are eager for me to teach her something new. But remarkably, she tends to teach me more than I could ever teach her. She doesn't teach me about science or anything like that, but about myself. She brings out sides of me that were locked up for years, that I never thought could be released from their shackles.

Einstein once said, "gravity can not be held responsible for people falling in love." Well I fell in love with her the second I laid eyes on her five years ago.

She speaks.

"Mommy, daddy! Come on." She says enthusiastically as she grabs my hand and leads me up the path to the next house, her mother following us close behind.

"Wait up Little Bug." I tell her, but it does no good. Halloween is like Christmas to her, and she is eager for more treats.

"Kylie Marie Grissom, be careful with your father." Sara says to our daughter. I can hear Kylie release a little chuckle. "Ok mommy."

"Thank you Sara." I whisper back to my wife.

"Your welcome Griss." Sara says.

I lean in for a kiss from her, but it is quickly halted by Kylie chiming in with an "Eww."

This is how Halloween is truly meant to be. No tricks, just treats."
