A Jack and Rose Poem...

I heard your melodious whisper through the somber night

When you took my breath away for one last time

You held on to it with all of your might

Not knowing it was the last one I would breathe in my lifetime

My dear Rose, when you turned to gaze at me

My soul had already sunk in the deep ocean of your heart

I did not drift to the floor of the sea

For until this day, my hand is clutched to yours so that we will never part

I must admit that the ocean represented my tears

For I must have cried that much when I saw nothing but sorrow in your eyes

I couldn't bare waiting eighty four years

Just to be able to touch you when your soul would finally arise

I felt so hopeless sitting beside you hearing your silent screams of despair

Trying to send you whispers through the wind which you could not hear

My arms gently gliding around your waist as your sobs filled the air

Hoping it was my voice that you thought had tickled your ear

My soul is at ease within the sunlight of bliss

For the Titanic still drifts between the waves reflecting our love

My passions echoes in the sunset where we shared our first kiss

As my eyes descend, devoted to you from above

My lovely Rose, your reflection will soon lie with me

In the high heavens of the restless waters

Our devotion and love will forever flow freely

In a world where sorrow no longer shatters

My love, Titanic was the ship of dreams

Before our powerful love collided with destiny

But here I stand at the clock, overwhelmed with gleams

Tears running down my cheeks as your heart unites with me
