It was eerily silent in the Li mansion. But a determined young girl took no notice of it. This girl was Li Meiling and she was on a mission.
Miss Li was a beautiful 16 year old. She had long black hair, which was styled into a high ponytail, fiery ruby eyes, and had smirk across her glossed lips. Her outfits consisted of a black muscle shirt, black jeans, and knee high stiletto boots. This was Meiling's mission outfit.
Now, checking if the coast was clear, Meiling tiptoed quietly up the grand staircase in the foyer of the mansion. She constantly checked every now and then if her beloved cousin, Li Syaoran, was home early.
"Good, the 'little wolf isn't home yet. My plan is set, the 'red dragon' is on the move." Meiling whispered to herself seriously. She then burst out laughing, "Ah, this is so much fun .."
After her laughter subsided, Meiling crept cautiously to her cousin's room. She then opened the door slowly and looked inside. Meiling was met with a queen sized bed with black sheets, a study desk which was under a shelf full of martial arts and soccer awards, and a flat screen TV with a forest green sofa sitting in front of it. And adorned on the forest green walls were posters of various jrock bands, and soccer stars. But most of all, they were posters of the international singer, Akina.
Upon entering the room, Meiling started to walk slowly towards the desk, not noticing that she had left the door slightly ajar. She tried to not step on any of the video games lying on the floor, which were next to … a Wii! As though, in a trance, Meiling began to walk towards the game console, but soon realized what she was doing. Meiling shook her head.
"There's plenty of time to play later! I have to complete my mission … " Meiling scolded to herself as she was going back to her first destination.
When reaching the desired spot, Meiling cautiously picked up one of the CDs. Finally in her hands was Akina's newest CD release, 'Itsumo'. Meiling had been itching to hear it ever since it came out, but had spent all her money on the new stiletto boots she was currently wearing, the week before. She knew Syaoran would have the CD, but wouldn't let her borrow it, so Meiling had thought of : ' Operation listen to Akina's new CD before Syaoran comes home!' And so, with a broad smile one her face, Meiling popped the CD into the white laptop, which was on the desk and started dancing around the room. While intently listening to the first track, Meiling did not hear the faint "Tadaima!" from the first floor of the mansion.
