Prologue - April's Aftermath

Lady Alvane was rocking along in her chair content with her life as she has seen much. The kids who enjoyed her stories returned for more, each sitting in their respective spots. "So you wish to hear more?" she said, amazed they were interested in her tales. "Yes my lady, April saved the balance. But what happened after that? What became of her, what became of the worlds?" the earth boy asked, Lady Alvane softly hummed amusement at their curiosity. "Well you see, April thought after her quest that everything… Would be alright. Yet the holes she left stayed open! A change in things was happening rapidly over the years." Lady Alvane replied, bracing them for some of the darkening parts of the tale. "What happened all that time?" the earth girl asked, "April saw things change for the worst in her eyes. Many years before she would awaken to the nature of things." The two earth kids leaned in closer because the plot was preparing to take a dive. "How did her adventures end?" asked the earth girl. "They ended the moment she restored the balance. Which is where her story goes into a new direction…"
