A/N: Okay, this was going to be a drabble but it ended up being too long, so. . . I just kept writing until I was done. I didn't have the heart to take anything out, so it's like a long drabble. Or short story. Whichever you prefer. Here it is! Hope you like!

Sunshine pours through the window to bathe the curled body on the bed.

"Saaaaam. . . It's too early to wake up," a whiny voice mutters through the sheets. He pulls the pillow over his head and twists his back to the window.

"Mr. Frodo, it's already past second breakfast. Sleep any longer and you'll miss elevensies." A fond yet exasperated hobbit sighs. No answer from the sheets. "Mr. Frodo? Come now, wake up!"

A grumble, but still no answer.

"Fine then. If you're going to sleep, so will I." The plotting hobbit crawls under the covers with his back to the other. The other stirs. Grins.

"Sam?" The sandy-haired hobbit doesn't move, but smiles to himself. He feels an arm reach around his waist and pull him closer. "Oh Saaaam?"

"Mr. Frodo, I thought you wanted to sleep?"

"You distracted me"

"Well you're going to have to sleep with the distraction."

Another grin. "Yes. Yes I will."

A smile that wasn't meant to be seen. A chuckle that wasn't meant to be heard. "I didn't mean it that way, and you know it, sir."

He hugs tighter and presses a kiss to the back of a neck. "But I like it better this way. Besides, it's your fault I'm tired."

The sandy-haired hobbit turns to face the other. "Oh, so it's my fault now? Well don't worry; I won't make you tired anymore. I'll make sure you get your sleep."

"Oh, but I like being tired. And, but the way, I'm not anymore."

"Not what?"

"Not tired. I have plenty of energy."

"That's nice. But you still said you wanted to sleep, so. . . Go ahead. Sleep." He turns back around. The other reaches a hand around and toys with his shirt buttons.

"I don't feel like sleeping anymore. I told you- you distracted me."

"Well then, sir, what do you feel like doing?"

A smirk. "Oh. . .you know." The other turns around and kisses him with a mischievous glint in his eye.

"You're horrible, you know that?"

"Yes, I know."

Another kiss.
