She was tip-toeing through the house, anxious to avoid awakening those that slept within the other rooms. Her bare feet rising and falling on the cool hallway floor, as the dark shadows of the adjoining hallways fell across her, the windows, non existent in the centre of the Tower, offering no release from the dark depths of night. A small smile graced her usually buoyant face, as she finally made it to the room she'd been so anxious to arrive at. Bright green eyes glanced left and right, breath held and her teeth nibbling at her bottom lip; but no one was about.

With a small smile, she slipped into the room. It was a secret room she'd made up for herself, filled for herself, and kept locked and hidden away from the other Titans. Why? She wasn't sure; Starfire wasn't really one to hide and keep secrets from her friends… well, not usually, anyway. But this was something she was going to keep all for herself; at least for now.

Punching in the lock combination, the doors hissed open, sliding to the left and allowing her to slip in. They closed behind her with another low hiss. Once they'd clicked, signalling closure, the young woman flicked the room's lights on, and flooded the area with brightness, making her blink several times. After several moments, her vision finally readjusted from the darkness of the hallways to the new brightness. But it was all worth it.

Before her, decked out throughout the room and arranged by colours and types, were more clothes than perhaps all of the City had combined; she had enough here, in this single room, to make herself very wealthy — could she ever bare the thought of selling any of it. Instead, she kept it all in her secret room, hidden away from the world. Over in one lonely corner, far away from the door and hidden behind a paper wall, was a sewing machine. Surrounding it, was bolt upon bolt of fantastic cloths and materials, of additional buttons and ribbons and jewels and sequins. Starfire was in heaven. She lifted from the ground, her small smile widening into a massive grin, as she flew through the full to bursting isles of her creations; of outfits made to fit her team members — Cyborn, Robin, Beast Boy and especially Raven — to the corner where her masterpieces were created with loving care.

She was working on something special lately. It was a gorgeous deep emerald green dress, to flow to the floor and about her long form with loving kisses, and to dance about her heels. A strapless dress of shining, glossy material that she was putting together for her and Robin's first date; something special to wear, for an event so special. He had, after all, finally gotten the courage to ask her out. Starfire giggled. It had been worth the wait, to watch Robin, so tough and fearless against all the enemies and strange things that popped up in their lives, to stutter and worry himself as she stood there silently, attempting to ask her out. Oh, but it had been so worth it! She giggled again, and slowly fitted her gown to the Starifre mannequin she had had specially made by someone in the city. It was adjustable, but was specialised to Starfire herself, even claiming a Starfire face. It was a little creepy, she supposed, but definitely worth it.

From the corner, her mannequin team mates watched with little interest. She giggled. It was funny to see her male team members observer her without interest or worry but instead calm acceptance.

Shuffling around the mannequin so delicately wearing her dress, Starfire made small adjustments, playing with the settings, the sittings, the pins and the lines. Adding some small sparkling gems here and there, just right, to bring out a flair in the shape of either Starfire, or the sitting of the dress itself.

Oh, but she was going to look stunning!
