Face the Truth
Lucy looked at Susan with tear filled eyes. "How could you forget Narnia? How could you forget Aslan?" Susan glared at her.
"Have Peter and Edmund still been encouraging those babyish games?" Susan said, returning to her makeup.
"They aren't games! Queen Susan the Gentle, don't you remember?" Were Lucy's final words before running out of the room.
You take a look around. It's been so long since you've heard the hurting words.
You don't like what you see.
There's people you don't know.
But you know they care.
I care for you, and it's right this time.
Forget your past, and see what is now.
Even if you don't want to, you gotta face the truth.
You gotta face the truth.
Peter caught Lucy as she ran out of the room sobbing. "What's wrong Lu?" He asked gently, tilting her head up.
"S-She thinks Narnia is a game! A childish game we played!" She sobbed out, tears still running down her cheeks.
"It's ok Lu," he said comfortingly. "we'll be leaving soon. Then we'll come back and tell Su that it's all real." He hugged her tighter to his chest.
You take a look around. You wait to say good-bye.
You don't like what you see.
There's people you don't know.
But you know they care.
";Someday"; may come along.
Not thinking of reality.
You make the most of your lies.
A broken heart comes crashing down.
And you're stabbed from behind.
Not willing to admit the truth?
Just face the truth.
Susan rolled her eyes, but waved as her siblings left. Unbeknownst to her, it would be the last time she ever saw them, in this world that is.
She heard a knock at the door and went to it. A man looked at her in great sympathy and handed her the telegram.
She read it, dropping to her knees and sobbing. "Why? Why them? They were so innocent and pure!"
Meanwhile, in Aslan's country, her siblings were begging Aslan to allow Susan to come to them, and be with them. "Please Aslan! It's not her fault she didn't believe!"
Why don't you care?
Just face the truth...
Susan suddenly realised she was wrong.
