NOTE: This poem has problems, but I'd thought up the last line and needed a poem to put it in, so here it is. There are some worthy lines in it. The poem is from Mara Jade to Luke. I am not anywhere near an authority on the Star Wars universe, so I've taken some artistic liberties with the characters of the poem. Namely, I don't think Mara was ever really a Sith, but she was close. A Sith in training, or something. I dunno. Eeek!!

DISCLAIMER: I don't own any Star Wars characters, especially not Mara or Luke, and I'm not making any money off of this, so please don't sue me.

We'll catch stars, you and I,

together,

fields of them, the sky

glittering with suns and

galaxies that we have been

to, before. There is your sand

world, of yellow towers and cliffs, when

you were a boy.

You dreamed, there, once, with

a young face. I love

your face. Your eyes. You a Jedi, I a Sith,

but that was then.

Nothing is fixed, not

even stars. How I used

to hate you. I was wrought

from pain.

But you wore

me down. We dance, now.

No, more. You take my hand, and we soar.
