One's Infinite Wish

27-year old Thomas Maguda was just some ordinary Filipino-American guy living with his folks in a some almost desert city around Fresno, California with everything left to lose in life. He almost had nothing-no career, just only a one-time job at a liquor store, an estranged girl he wanted to be with and he was downright broke. He only just relied on his dad's tax-refunds everytime he filed once a year. A completely broken man overall if you want to say that.
That is the case, until one night an anomaly in the sky that crashed near his house would forever change the course of his existence. Something that glowed yellow right outside his window.
He looked up and gazed at the brightness. Thomas couldn't escape the feeling about wanting to know what was outside that eyed his interest nor would he wanted to go back to sleep and pretend it was just a car speeding by. "What is it out there?" He said as he threw his blanket off the floor without a care and stood up.
The unknown object continued to glow right in front of him. He ran outside to investigate. And on that, his parents were still asleep, unknown of what was outside that glowed.
"It's 3:48 in the morning and nothing glows out at this time. Did some idiot just got his car lights out here or what?" Tom complained and then went to see on the ground that it was no mere car light. But something else.
He looked out more on the ground and see that it was a glowing hand that radiated a lot of light out. It was so bright he needed more than just sunglasses for it. Shielding his eyes with his arm would be sufficient.
Also the ground was very hot since the object just came from reentry of the atmosphere.
Tom then went back to the house to get a few cook mittens from his mom's kitchen drawers and proceeded out to get the mysterious glove.
He couldn't handle the excitement that would follow him later on.
Outside on the crater, he grabbed the shiny golden glove and then placed it in the cooler he also acquired. Then the object's current temperature made the cooler more hotter.
"Ouch! This thing is way hot. I gotta get it in my room fast! And whats with the shiny Skittles on this?" Tom said as he examined the mysterious glove he had got inside the container.
With what he acquired was no ordinary glove that gave off its full shiny form to begin with. It was something that no one would understand of what this glove with six mysterious gems placed inside would mean to Thomas and his destiny that lay ahead.
His destiny with the Infinity Gauntlet.
