Chapter one

I'm pregnant, great

It was Christmas Eve and Gabby and Troy were together since last Christmas Eve. "Hi Honey" Gabby said to Troy. "Hi Gabby" said Troy. "Happy anniversary" he said as he picked Gabby up. "Ummmmmm, Troy I think it is time," Gabriella said. "For what?" Troy said. "When I was about twelve, my mother gave me "the talk" and I have remembered it since then. I think it is time we had a baby together. "Wow!" Troy said. "Just think of it, me and you and our little baby together." "Ok, Gabriella," Troy said. "Whatever you want, I know it will be great!" Well, that night, Troy and Gabriella went right to work. "Thank you for this anniversary present Troy, it's the best one." "I know, he said. For the next two weeks, Gabby thought about what they did that night. That same day, she found out that she was pregnant right in front of her mother. "Gabriella, we will got to the abortion unit in the morning, until then you should think about that night with Troy," Ms. Montez said as she closed the door of Gabby's room. The she opened it back up and said: "And you may never see this "Troy" again. When Gabby's mom left, she took some clothes, locked the door, and went out of her window, she left a note on the window saying: " I am grown mom, I need to make my own choices, whether good or bad. I am NOT getting an abortion, I want to have this baby, which was my whole point of that night with Troy. You may never understand. Did you want me when you found out you were pregnant? When you had me, did you feel proud? I want to be a mother as well as you want to be a grandmother. Troy really wants to participate in being the father of my child. I really want him to be the father of my baby too, why cannot you just accept that I want to be a mother. That means I am looking up to you and you should be proud that I have a man that will trust me and back me up for what I want and need. He has a job too. So, I'll be gone for a little while, call me on my cellie when you accept that I'm going to be a parent in nine months

Your daughter,

Gabriella Montez
