Kai walked to the throne as the seal went down, his mates following him. Kai couldn't help but express his happiness with a joyous smile as he vigorously treaded to the throne, ripples of water following him.

The brunet got closer to the long throne, his shadow sweeping the pale water as he made his way around, covering the view of the stars behind him.

On the throne sat Aichi, the one he had been looking for, his face pure and angelic as ever, the face he had longed to see and touch. He gently cupped it his cheek with a hand.

He felt so cold.

Kai suddenly realized that Aichi was slightly shivering, his body rattling in small quakes, and he felt Aichi leaning against his hand, trying to cherish the warmth touching him. Kai frowned, gently rubbing his cheek with his thumb, and cooed a name.

"Aichi."

Said boy stirred at the sound of his name, looking up at Kai with large azure sapphires.

"Kai kun?"

Kai opened his mouth to say something when Aichi suddenly lunged his hand at Kai's face, his fingers clamping the ridges of his jawbone as he threw Kai to the edge of the sanctuary. Kai luckily used his body weight to stop himself, staring at Aichi in shock as he jarred to a halt, gently rubbing the sides of his face.

"Aichi...?" He whimpered, looking up at the king who was now looming over him, piercing him with an ice cold gaze.

"What are you doing here?" Aichi hissed angrily. "I told you to stay away!"

Kai flinched, as he had a brief flashback of Aichi's words, but he never would've thought that Aichi wanted him to stay away out of sheer hatred.

Kai shook his head, and got up, their faces inches away.

"I'm rescuing you because I love you." Kai murmured, and he reached out a hand to try and cup Aichi's face, who flinched, batting his hand away, and Kai frowned.

"Don't you love me, Aichi?"

Aichi scoffed, obviously trying not to laugh, and Kai pursed his lips as he watched Aichi turn around to hide a snicker.

"You thought I did?" Aichi sneered, wiping a tear away from his eye. "But I don't. I love someone else."

"Who." Kai forced out, a lump growing in his throat as he narrowed his eyes in attempt to hide forming tears. Aichi bore into his eyes, his lips slowly curling into a sly smile.

"I love Gaillard."

Kai widened his eyes larger than he thought he ever could, horror and shock shattering his heart into pieces, the familiar aching feeling that he received when he was young tearing at him, desperately hoping that Aichi was joking. But Aichi said nothing, nothing to reassure him, just continued to leer at Kai.

Kai caught a glimpse of teal hair behind Aichi. It was Gaillard, his face twisted into a triumphant smile, his rings glowing omniously, as Kai widened his eyes.

"No! Aichi! You don't love him! He's controlling you with his ring!" Kai shouted. Aichi just stared at him as if he had grown wings.

"Are you jealous, Kai kun?" Aichi teased, flicking him on the forehead. Kai winced as Aichi walked away, standing in front of the throne.

"Gaillard, please set up your prison." Aichi narrowed his eyes, pulling out his deck.

"As you wish, Aichi sama." Gaillard replied, giving Kai another wicked grin as he lifted up both of his hands, the rings glowing blue as he began the chant.

"Holy blue flames that flicker for eternity, blaze forth and burn down everything. Holy Prominence Prison!"

Blue fire raged around them and enclosed around them, creating Gaillard's signature prison. Fire burst in front of both of them, morphing into a table. Aichi placed his deck down.

"I will defeat you, for the world's sake and my sake." Aichi glanced at the smiling blue knight behind him. "And Gaillard's sake."

Kai growled angrily, slamming his deck on the table and glaring at Aichi, ready to prove his feelings for the bluenet.

I will get you back, Aichi!
