firstly...sorry I haven't gotten much out lately
there are a few ideas I'm working on that are taking longer than usual
anyway
I've been trying to write something with Rilly again ("The Girl That Didn't Want To Lead")
and this idea came up
and Ht requested a Rilly story for her B-day (which was a while ago...sorry)
so here!
and I have another Rilly story in the works, but that's gonna take some time
so until then, here!

Antauri stared at the small being laying the bed in front of him
he felt very protective over this little girl
and suddenly he could understand the most heinous acts
he'd do the worst things imaginable
just to keep her safe
it was a weird feeling
he'd never sat and thought about just how far he would go to keep Chiro safe
it would be pretty far, he'd imagine
but Chiro had already been a teen when Antauri met him, and could, for the most part, take care of himself
this little girl was so small and fraile. she needed every once of protection Antauri had to offer her
he knew some day she wouldn't
but right now, she was barely able to talk!
let alone fend for herself!
it just struck Antauri
how helpless she was
and how much he was willing to do for her
he knew that if another being ever hurt this girl
that he might just break every moral code he had
Rilly snuggled up tighter with her stuffed monkey, still fast asleep
Antauri had personally seen some of the worst monsters that this world had to offer
and he'd face them all to protect her
and he knew the rest of the team felt the same way
especially Chiro and Jinmay
but Antauri still felt a sting of worry whenever one of the others held her
he had barely with held screams of panic when she was in Otto's hands
and just about snatched her back
she was just precious to him!
Antauri quietly leaned down, kissed Rilly's forehead, and silently promised her that he'd protect her from anything and that he'd sooner die then let her get hurt

so, the idea is that Antauri loves Chiro just as much
but is more protective of Rill because he met her at a younger age
I don't know...didn't come out as good as I wanted it
but whatever!
