"Tyler," Elena said incredulous as they literally ran into eachother. Tyler was now leaving the Forbes' house distressed and angry. Most of all upset. She seemed to notice the hurt and anger lurking beneath the hard dark orbs of his.

He stared at her un-modestly. "Elena," he greeted sounding almost breathless. "How are you? I never actually talked to you since Senior prank night," Elena drawled out lowly.

"I'm fine," he lied. "No you're not," she quickly called out his lie. "You're right," he nodded. "Wanna talk?" she asked genuinely ready to listen to anything. Anything that would take her mind off the mess she was in at the moment. Though Tyler was intertwined into it somehow. But still.

Tyler was hesitant, but he remembered all the times when they were younger. Whenever there was a problem at home or something; Tyler always went to Elena and she knew how to reassure him and make him feel better about himself.

They walked into the woods together in silence.

"It just ended between Caroline and I," Tyler informed shortly. Elena stopped and looked over at him with furrowed brows. "Wow," she said at a lost for words. "She couldn't deal with the sire bond between Klaus and I. She couldn't handle me being a hybrid," Tyler explained sadly.

Elena frowned. "Are you happy about being a hybrid?" she asked. "Kind of. I mean I'm glad I can control when I'd be able to transform, not having to do it every two weeks," Tyler said. "But then again I'm not. I don't want to have this bond between a maniacal killer that's ready to kill all of my friends," Tyler said emptily.

Elena felt sadness for him. He was so lost. He just wanted to be normal and have to deal with the full moon and worry about tearing people apart. Elena knew he could survive on blood bags like the others.

"Wait," Elena suddenly got an idea in her head.

He turned to her and raised a questioning eyebrow. "We could talk to Bonnie about somehow breaking that," Elena thought out loud. Tyler was clearly surprised, but for once he felt a shimmer of hope run through him. Something that seemed almost foreign to him.

"I'll talk to her about it and get back to you at school tomorrow?" Elena offered. "Sure, see you around," Tyler said. Elena turned to leave, with him staring at her back as she left.

The next day a urgent tap on his shoulder while he was at his locker, snapped him out of his thoughts. He turned to see Elena happy and smiling. "Hey," she said with a slight wave of her hand. Her smiled seemed to contagious.

He couldn't help but smile back. "Hey," he greeted, closing his locker. "I talked to Bonnie last night and she said there was something in the grimoire," Elena said, peeking up at him to gauge his reaction.

He was happy. "Really?" he asked in disbelief. She nodded happily smiling.

"After school we can all go to Bonnie's house and she can perform the ritual and you'll be free!" Elena said lightly clapping her hands together.

"Ok, meet you after last period?" Tyler shrugged. "Definitely, meet you at your locker," she said happily. They turned to go to homeroom. Which they had together coincidentally.

Tyler felt different now. When he was with Caroline he was happy and proud. But Elena was different from her, when he was with her. He felt a glimmer of hope inside of him. Thanks to her.

Song: Beautiful girl by Broken iris

So i've written fluffy Tylena. Now i'm thinking about the possibility of writing them from a darker angle maybe. But i'm not so sure. But whatever, hope you enjoy.
