What happened to Karen?
A Harvest Moon Creepypasta.
Okay this is just plain creepy, I finally got my power supply in the mail and hooked up the Nintendo 64, I got out the Harvest Moon 64 game cartridge and put it in, everything looked okay with the intro, even the save function worked well, I was saving enough money and lumber to have a kitchen and bathroom installed, after watering the Corn and Tomatoes I started looking for Karen.
I went to the woods to see if she was there near the cabin, she wasn't there, I went to the vineyard and she wasn't there, I saw Kai walking around between the house and the wine cellar, I talked to him and he acts like nothing has ever happened to Karen, I went to Karen's mother afraid of what she may say, turns out my fear was right, someone killed Karen, was it her father or did she drown trying to escape from him? I tried talking to Sasha again, however the only words I got was. "He did it, he finally did it."
I looked at the screen. "Who, who is this he, that your referring too?" I asked expecting a reply, however she just repeating those words. I raced out of the house and ran to the graveyard near the mid wives house. There in the text as I pressed the A button was a message that shocked the daylights out of me. "Here lies Karen, killed by her lover." I loved Karen why would I do such a thing.
Karen's ghost stood by the grave and a text appeared automatically, I was shocked and scared, mostly cause I didn't go near Karen to talk to her, the message was creepy as she said. "You left me, you left me." Over and over again. How can this happen it's just a game it's not like Animal Crossing where game characters acknowledge that you left them for some time.
I tried turning the N64 off hoping this was a crazy dream I had, however the game still played even after unhooking the system. "Karen, I'm sorry, I wasn't expecting to go this long without playing the game." I cried.
A new text appeared on screen. On the screen her face looked different now, she had no eyes and blood was running down her cheeks. "You will pay for leaving me to die!" The screen froze, flashed red then went completely black. I closed my eyes hoping this was all a dream, that would end if I said. "Gees." However I was too scared to think about those words, all I could think about was, that I hoped the sun would raise up soon, before Karen would come to get me, for something I didn't know was possible, if I had just stayed home she wouldn't have died and wanted to get revenge on me.
