After a long day of battling Eggman, Sonic and his team, along with several of their acquaintances, decide to bunker in for the night. With a looming storm, they take shelter in an old, rustic mansion. Although somewhat on edge, and notwithstanding Sticks' suspicions, they decide to spend the night there while the rain pounds on the windows.
However, things begin to go awry fast when a dead body is found. With all the doors locked and windows shut, and a fierce storm raging outside, the group deduces one thing- one of them is a killer.
Time is running out. Someone here is secretly a murderer, and they could come after Sonic next. Will our intrepid hero solve the mystery of Murder Mansion Zone before he becomes one of the killer's soon to be many victims, or will he meet a gruesome end at the hands of one of his closest allies?
Join Sonic the Hedgehog, his best friend Miles Prower, and the whole gang as they try to discover the answers to the mysterious murderer's identity. Who is the killer, and why? Could it be Silver, trying to patch up a bad future, or is it Amy, seeking to be alone with Sonic forever? Sticks, due to paranoia causing her to hallucinate, or possibly Knuckles, hoping to eliminate all threats toward the Master Emerald? You'll be kept guessing as things take a turn for the worse.
Or, at least, that's what I had in mind.
I got the idea from "twotailedfox" and his "Murder on Green Hill Island" fic. This is supposed to be a sort of classic murder mystery story. The characters I chose were based on opinion, too- Sonic, Tails, Gadget, Shadow, Silver, and Knuckles for the male cast, and Amy, Sticks, Sally, Cosmo, Shade, and Rouge for the female cast.
