I do not own Inuyasha.

I was surprised at how little reviews I got for some of my stories these days. I didn't expect a lot, but some stories got fewer than I have thought. I guess that just proved that I still have a lot to work on with my writing. It seems like my skill has become rusty in the past weeks. But well, I can't really complain since I seem to lose all inspiration to write my stories. Nowadays I only feel like writing random stories without any real plots or meanings. Also I will be very busy again in a few days so I won't even have time to write. It MIGHT be months before I update again. I guess this is the right timing for me to take a break from writing for a while. I will still be around, just not writing as often as I use to. Take care :D

"It's okay to cry you know." Said a teenage girl to a teenage boy standing on the desert of the school roof.

"Who's crying wench!" said the boy rudely. He had seen her in class before, but they had never talked. They were anything but close. Her name was Rin.

She looked at the guy, Inuyasha, who stared at her angrily. She knew how hurt he must felt at the moment. He was just dumped by his long-time girlfriend, Kagome, after dating for over a year. She fell in love with another guy and decided to break of their relationship. Rin happened to be on the roof and heard their breaks up. She was about to warn them that she was there, but it was too late and it would be more awkward to interrupt them in the mid of their breaking up so she had no choice but to stay hidden and listened.

After Kagome left and Inuyasha stood there by himself, Rin realized she would be stuck here because it did not seem like he would go anywhere anytime soon.

But she had to return to class. The lunch break was almost over.

Then he spotted her.

He scorned her rudely, but she let it slide because she knew he was hurt. Not to mention his pride of being overheard by her and that she saw his pitiful state. He was a prideful man.

He loved Kagome very much that was clear. Inuyasha's emotions was like an open book for anyone to read and it did not take a genius to know that the man was still deeply in love with his now ex-girlfriend. His faced said it all. He looked as if he was crying inside.

So she told him to cry. To let the overflown buildup emotions he did not know what to do with out of his eyes. But with his proud personality, no way would he let anyone see his tears. He would put up the tough-guy-act and pretended he was okay even if he was dying from the inside.

"Okay," Rin told him. She had no choice but to leave the man alone. There was nothing she could do to ease or lessen the pain of his broken heart; to comfort him.

She walked passed him, meaning to return to class, but his quiet word stopped her.

"Can I… borrow your shoulder?"

The afternoon was hot, the wind was very mild. The sky was clear blue.

Without looking at his face, she knew he did not wish to be seen, she answered "Yes."

She felt he turned toward her, buried his face on her left shoulder, his body trembled slightly.

In silence, they stood there, letting her shirt slowly soaked the sorrow of his heartbroken.

The loss of his first love.
