'Hanamura, an island of the northern coast of Japan. My home, you can say. It will look unsteady at first glance but seriously, it is one of the most steadiest islands in the Northern Coast. We've been living here for five generations but every single house is new. We've got fishing decks, defences a massive hall in the biggest mountain on the island and are stock.

The only problem are the pests. Some clans have wolfs or foxes. But we have something much bigger and dangerous. We call them-'

"Dragons! Incoming!!"

As the man shouted those words a giant, blue dragon appeared. Grabbed a sheep from the field and took off. Then another arrived, but instead of grabbing sheep, it then breathed out fire and set alight a house. But before it could do anything else, it was met by a punch to the jaw and was a sword to the neck.

An when more warriors, shieldmaidens and dragons appear in the village. A young boy, rushed out of his house. Trying to get to his destination. He was scrawny, about 15 years of age. Having brown and black clothes covering his very skinny body. His black hair didn't stand out but only his partly metal head band helped to make it clear it was definitely him.

"Genji!"

The boy was then lifted up into the air mere inches from the flames of a powerful dragon swooping by. He was then dropped to the ground where he saw a tall, but muscular man in front of him covered in armour.

"Get to the blacksmiths," he exclaimed. Genji did as what he was told.

"Sojiro!" shouted a blonde man covered in scars, "we've got trouble at the docks."

"Great, just what I needed," whispered the man, "what do we have so far."

"We Deadly Nadders, Zipplebacks, Gronkles and a few Monsterous Nightmares," replied the blonde man.

"Any sign of a Night or Light Fury Jack?"

"None so far," replied Jack.

"Good, tell Reyes to meet me at the docks, you go to the top of the mountains and help the others up there."

"Yes sir," exclaimed Jack and rushed to find his partner Reyes.

"Ah, so you've decided to join the party," said a man working on a sword as Genji rushed by as he grabbed an apron, "thought you were helping the others with slaying the dragons."

"Me?" replied Genji, "no Winston, I am way too muscular for there liking with all of this?" He then sacasticly showed his stick arms in a muscular way.

"Well that true," chuckled Winston in sarcastic tone too, "now come on now, sword."

Winston then gave Genji a sword with one hand. But Genji needed two of his arms to even hold it and he was still struggling to hold when taking it to be sharpened.

"My group will head to the towers! Reyes send yours to the docks and make sure they don't attack the ships!" shouted Sojiro.

"Yes Sojiro," called back Reyes, "come on men!"

But as Reyes and his group of men went down the boardwalks to the ships.

"GRONKLES!"

Two dark, hovering dragons then appeared and crashed straight into a house near where Reyes and his team was and set alight with a lava liquid pouring down onto the boardwalks. Lot's of new houses.

"Fire over here!" called out a man. As Genji gave back the sword to the waiting warrior he notice the other teenagers roughly his age soon by with a barrel on wheels.

There was Lena Oxten. A girl from the North who had just moved here a few weeks ago.

Lúcio Correia Dos Santos. A dark skinned man further from the west of here.

Hana Song. From Korea, North or South was unknown.

Mei-Ling Zhou. Mei for short, from China.

Jamison Fawkes. A crazy guy from Oceania.

Mako Rutledge. Jamison's close friend.

And the one Genji see's as the most stand out girl he knows.

Angela.

Genji watched as Lena and Mei went to a house to stop the fire. Lúcio and Hana kept filling buckets of water and Jamison just watched Mako take out a fire by himself.

"Are you going to help?"

Jamison looked up casually at Angela.

"Sorry Valkyrie," he shrugged, "I don't help."

"Heads up," cried Hana. Genji gasped in shock as a Deadly Nadder appeared.

Angela then took out a sword that was next to her thigh and swung it at the dragon. The dragon screeched and took of leaving a flaming pit of grass.

"Why do you have your sword?" asked Mei.

"My uncle gave it to me," replied Angela emotionless, "now come on and help with putting down that fire! Jamison!"

"Ah fine," grumbled Jamison as he picked himself up and grabbed a bucket of water with Angela.

Genji sighed with relieve and was about to continue watching when a strong hand grabbed his shirt.

"Torbjörn," groaned Genji as he was dragged back to where he was at last.

"Don't do that to me," said the dwarf severely, "you are my apprentice since 11 and you will show me respect no matter what."

"Please let me out there and kill a dragon. I might even get a date," protested Genji.

"Winston," called Torbjörn.

"Definitely not," called back the familiar voice.

"See, Winston thinks you can't and I don't blame him. You cannot hold a sword or axe without both arms. You cannot even throw these rope catchers," said Torbjörn as he dangled a rope with a rock at each end.

"Yes I know," replied Genji, "But this, will throw it for me."

He jestered to a log shaped wheel barrow with attachments around it.

Torbjörn sighed. "This is where you cross the line Genji," he growled.

"Oh come on pl-"

"NO," said Torbjörn, "and that's the end of it."

"Oh you," said Genji narrowing his brow.

"Oh yes," replied Torbjörn.

"You are not going to hold my inner anger and strength dwarf," murmured Genji, "there'll be consequences!"

"I'll take my chances," replied Torbjörn without a second thought of saying it. He then gave Genji a sword.

"Sharpen it," ordered Torbjörn as he walked back to Winston.

Genji grumbled back to the sharpener. He looked back outside from the window seeing all the warriors and shieldmaidens swinging their swords and axes at the dragons.

Deadly Nadders, spikes all around their scaley body and with their tails, could use their overgrown scales to throw as spears to their victims.

Gronkles, can fire and spit lava out their tough mouths. They are the fattest out the classes of dragons, so it would be tough to kill them. They could even earn you girlfriend.

Zippleback, with two heads. One which blows gas while the other sparks it up. Most warriors have to pairs to take them down.

But one of the powerful dragons are the Monsterous Nightmare. Only the toughest men or women go after them. They usually have a nasty habit of setting themselves on fire.

But there was a class of dragon that was even more powerful then that.

"A Night Fury is coming!" cried a shieldmaidens.

"Get down!"

There was huge blast of blue and one the defence towers came tumbling down with red and blue flames.

A Night Fury was the male class of its kind. A Light Fury is the female class, but the Night Furies are more powerful then any other. It never takes a flock of sheep or bulls. It never never misses. And it has never been killed in sight.

Genji watched as the tower came down to the ground in flaming pieces. He sighed. He had a plan. To capture and kill that Night Fury, and he will be the first one to do so.

"Winston!" cried Torbjörn, "they'll need supplies out there. Take some. I'll hold some of the devils of at the fields."

"Right on it," replied Winston as his massive hands took hold of a wheel barrow of swords and other weapons to take down and kill a dragon.

As Torbjörn was about to follow Winston out of the Blacksmiths he then turned to Genji who was staring at the two leaving. His one eye stared at the small teenager serverely.

"Stay...put," he ordered.

Genji only raised a brow.

"You know what I mean," said Torbjörn and ran out of the building with his short legs and pointing his hammer arm in the air whilst yelling crazily.

Genji smiles. This was his chance. He took of his apron and grabbed his wheelbarrow and drove it out of the blacksmiths.

"Genji!" cried a warrior, "where are you going?"

"Sorry," replied Genji, "I'll be back soon!"

Genji drove the wheelbarrow past flaming houses all the way to a cliff at the edge of the village. He then pulled out the doors of the weapon he created and then pulled out to leathers that were attached to rope. Genji then looked through a hole where he waited to see his aim. He waited and waited. Faint notices of dragons screeching and men and women shouting in the background.

He then heard a screech up in the sky. He turned his aim at the noice. Another screech. He turned again. Then a black shape blocked the stars with massive wings and body.

"Come on," whispered Genji. He then got a clear aim and pulled the lever. The rope shot out of Genji's creation with rock at both ends.

Genji fell over and before he could pick himself up. He heard a screech of pain from a dragon and the same black figure fell down to ground on the other side of the island. Genji got up shocked at what happened. He then grinned of excitement.

He shot down a Night Fury.

"YEEEEAAAAAAHHHH!!" exclaimed Genji in excitement, "did anyone just saw that?!"

But as he turned he was only met my a Monsterous Nightmare.

"Eh, you saw that though," said Genji, a thick lump came to his throat as the dragon growled.

"Keep that dragons mouth shut!" shouted Sojiro, "they still have juice in them!"

But as he was about to get on top of the Deadly Nadder. A roar was heard and Sojiro looked up to see a Monsterous Nightmare chasing a scawny boy.

The dragon was quick, but so was Genji. He manage to dodge many of the dragon's fiery breath but was getting worn out. He then hid behind a massive pole wear on top a fire to lure the dragons in. He hid behind it just in time as the flames came to almost touching his clothes.

One it stopped, Genji slowly turned around. But before he realised that the dragon's head was behind him. It was punched back a few feet away from the boy and he turned to see Sojiro in front of him with one of his swords in his hand. The dragon then tried to shoot fire at him. But only a few squirts and sparks came out. The dragon then looked at Sojiro with embarrassment in it's face.

"All out," murmured Sojiro and charged at the beast. But the dragon took of before Sojiro could get his sword on his tail.

Sojiro gave a heavy sigh and turned to the boy. Who watched as the post collapse from the burning flames and smashed into a house.

"Sorry... Dad," murmured Genji to his raging father.

There was silence. The raid was over and the clan watched as some of there flock and bulls were carried away by the dragon's.

"Ok," said Genji, "but I hit a Night Fury."

Sojiro then grabbed his son and dragged away.

"It's not like that last few times Dad," protested Genji, "I really hit one. Out on Raven's Ridge. Let's get a search party an-"

"Stop!" exclaimed Sojiro, "just stop. Every time you go out there disaster falls. We are nearly at winter and I have an entire clan to feed!"

Genji looked around and a raised his brow.

"Well, just between you me," he whispered, "I think the village needs less feeding."

"This is not a joke Genji!" exclaimed Sojiro. He sighed and put his fingers on his temple, "Winston, take him home."

"Yes sir," replied Winston, "come on now."

Genji sighed as Winston pushed him along.

"What's the matter Genji?" laughed Jamison, "you hit a Night Fury! A Night Fury!"

Mako and Hana laughed whilst Lúcio and Mei looked the other way. Winston in return shoved Jamison onto the ground with one hand.

Genji looked backed to only see Angela look away from him. He sighed and walked back to the house.

xXxXxXx

"He doesn't listen to me! Ever!" cried out Genji furiously, "what does he expect of me anyways!"

"Well-"

"Dear Gods!" exclaimed Genji, trying to make an impression on his father, "I think you gave me the wrong son. I wanted a beefy, fearless man which can break a boulder at 2 years old! Not this scrawny fishbone!"

"Now listen Genji," replied Winston calmly, "your thinking this all wrong. It's not the outside that he doesn't understand. It's the inside he can't understand."

Genji looked at Winston unconvinced.

"Really?" he said.

"Listen Genji," said Winston, "I understand that you just want to become one of us. We all do."

"But you guys just reject me," murmured Genji to himself, and with that he went inside his house.

Winston sighed and walked to the Shimada Hall.
