Chapter One- Prologue
Luxa looked around nervously. Where is Gregor?, she couldn't help but think. This place is like a nightmare… She crossed onto one of those black things in the middle of the path to cross over and look for Gregor elsewhere. She heard a slight rumbling and humming. She turned around, and there were one of those "cars" Ripred had told her about. She did what anyone would do. Luxa screamed.
Gregor was restless. It had been a bad day at school, and he just wanted to go home. He turned around a block, and had to swerve to get out of the way of a speeding car. "Hey, what the heck man?," Gregor had to yell. He got back on course and regained himself. He opened his eyes and saw a girl his age in a black jacket screaming.
