My little note:

I'm not good at what you call deadlines. I get projects in on time, but my own personal goals are always completed late. Here, now I shall start my next fan fiction. Don't worry, I shall not be dropping the first, just taking a mini-mini break (please?). Anyway, this is my first shot at a love story, so please enjoy!

-Chapter 1: Breaking up-

Ai Kaga was rushing into school, late again. Her dad had to use the car to drive to work, and the temple was very far from the school. She was sweating, nervous that she would cause trouble for the other students because of her carelessness. She saw the school in sight and sped up.

Walking through the wooden doors, she went upstairs to the second floor, 2-F. Walking by, she heard yelling through the night duty room, Komori's usual hiding place, but it didn't sound like her this time. In fact it was normally quiet, since Kiri would sleep through most of the school day. No, the yelling sounded like a fight between boyfriend and girlfriend.

"I feel like your controlling every part of me now; why can't you like me for myself?" the male voice said. Ai couldn't recognize that voice, but it sounded familiar.

"Why don't you stop over reacting to my suggestions? You would be nothing without me!" the female voice said. That voice was also a very familiar one. Ai made it into class, a good 10 minutes late. She sat in the far left corner in the class so she wouldn't bother anybody. When she rushed to her corner seat, she saw someone already in it. The person was in a boy's school uniform, yet it had long black hair. Papers were all over its desk, some slightly wrinkled, and some acting as a pillow.

"U-um, excuse me?" Ai asked the person. It's not that she wanted the person to move, but she wanted to ask if it was a new student. It stirred, and got up, causing many papers to float to the ground. The head turned to Ai. She immediately recognized it to be Kiri Komori, the resident of the school.

"Hmmm?" Said she, eyes still closed.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I'm sorry to have woken you up!" Ai apologized. Kiri shook her head and opened her eyes. Ai noticed some of her security blanket was still poking out from the front and bottom of the jacket. Kiri waved her hand and yawned.

"It's cool, I needed to get up anyway."

"What are all these papers for, and why do you have a boys' school uniform on?" Ai said while proceeding to help Kiri pick up the many papers dropped from her awakening.

"These papers are all the makeup work I have, since I don't go to school. As regards to the uniform, I'm not quite sure. I'm tired today." Kiri laughed a little at herself. Ai smiled a little.

"Speaking of you being here, what's going on in your room anyway? I'm sorry for asking such a prying question." Ai bowed in apology.

"It's cool, it's cool. I exited my room, and when I came back Marui-san and Kino-kun were just dueling it out in my room. I then thought it was a good opportunity to turn in some makeup work, so I asked Chie if anyone left a uniform is my size. The only one left was this, but it was a little big. I then stuffed my blankie in it, making it fit perfectly, even if it was for a guy," Kiri said, " I'm tired though, normally I'm sleeping at this time."

"Oh, I'm sorry for waking you up!" Ai bowed again, but before Kiri could wave off her apology, Nozomu, Matoi, and Kino a bit later came in and the lesson finally started (2 periods late.)
