A/N: Hi everyone! So this is my first KamiKaze Kaitou Jeanne fic. Let me know how you feel about it so far. This is just the prologue of the story to show the history of the new Kaitou. Longer chapters are to come. Um, I remember from the anime that there's only one true Kaitou and that is the reincarnation of Jeanne d'Arc. This is, I guess you could call it somewhat of an AU. For all of you that like the Maron and Chiaki pairing I will add them in too. I absolutely love that pairing! :P There is also going to be a pairing with the new Kaitou so I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I had fun writing it. Reviews are optional, and I'll accept anything from comments and flames to constructive criticism. Your opinions help me to continue writing :o)

Summary: "Calm and soothing, powerful and enchanting, passionate and free! Kaitou Cecilia has arrived!"

Disclaimer: I don't own anything of KamiKaze Kaitou Jeanne. I just own the plot of this story. :o)

1. A New Kaitou is Born

"Calm and soothing, powerful and enchanting, passionate and free!"

Long ago, a young girl was chosen by God to save the corrupted hearts of mankind. However, unaware of her destiny, she continued on with her everyday life. She devoted her life to God and to music. Everyday as she played music, God watched over her from the heavens. As a young girl, she played instruments ranging from the flute to her voice.

As the years passed, she flourished into a beautiful, young woman who was passionately devoted to God. She was soon married to a noble named Valerian. Everyday she prayed to God and the angels asking them to protect her and her family. One day, she told her husband that she would tell him a secret. She said, "There is an angel who watches me, and wards off from me any who would touch me." He replied, "Dearest, if this be true, show me the angel." Her final statement was, "That can only be if you will believe in one God, and be baptized." Curious, he visited Pope Urban and was baptized. When he returned, he laid his eyes upon his wife who was praying in her chamber. By her was an angel with flaming wings, holding crowns of roses and lilies. After the angel placed the crown upon their heads, he left. Following this, Tibertian, Valerian's brother, also was baptized.

The two brothers devoted their lives to burying those who died under the rule of the prefect. When they were confronted and commanded to stop, they were executed immediately. In the meantime, Valerian's wife had baptized over four hundred people and shown them the way of God. She was soon captured and condemned to suffocated in the boiling baths. They locked her in the baths for an entire day, turning up the heat all the way. The next day, they found her alive without a single bead of perspiration. Angered and frustrated, they hired a man to behead her. The executioner hit her three times, but was unable to dismember the head from the rest. He left her there bleeding.

Over the course of three days, she preached to and prayed with the crowds that came to visit her. On her third day, with her final breaths, she sang a praising song to God and then closed her eyes for a final time. Soon after, she was declared a saint to live with God in heaven for all eternity. She had changed the lives of the corrupt through her music and followed God's will to the end.
