So I was checking my fanfiction email address today and I had an email from a forum I sent an application too that I completely forgot about so I went to the forum and I had to write a paragraph with specific words or phrases (the ones bolded) and I thought, why not publish it as a one shot, its not too bad. I know there are people out there that don't read one-shot's. I didn't use to, but I have so much going on and I barely have time to write. So here it is, my very fist one shot. Ta-Da! R&R
The young girl, with blonde hair and a set of beautiful brown eyes, sloshes down the road stepping in every puddle on the side walk. He used to jump in puddles with her. It was their favorite thing to do, other than throw nachos at random people screaming 'Sorry! I think have ants in my pants and I spazzed!'. They did everything together. She gripped her purple and black umbrella harder, making her knuckles white. Before she realized what she was doing she tapped her fingers along to the song she wrote him, back when they thought they were in love. She got to her favorite part and sang out loud. Her voice sounded like a wounded angel, it was beautiful but you could tell she was hurt. "I was trying to fly, but I couldn't find my wings. Then you came along, and you changed everything." Tears streamed down her face, dropping and blending with the puddles from the rain. Three words, three words had taken the door hinges off of the strong Maximum Ride and let her emotions run wild. 'I hate you.'
