I do not own Teen Titans or any related characters, but if I did I would definitely make another season!

The waves crashed gently along the rigid rocks that formed our island, and a lone seagull flapped its wings in the cool summer sky. A small breeze enveloped the morning air and made her vibrant red hair dance in the wind. I walked over to where she was gazing at the breathtaking scene and sat down silently.

"Mornin' Star" I said,

She turned her head towards me and flashed her angelic smile that never failed to take my breath away.

"Good morning friend Robin" she replied, while moving a strand of hair from her face and tucking it behind her ear.

We remained silent for a while and she continued to stare out into the eternity of water below us. A hushed sigh broke the still of the early daylight.

"Robin?" she queried and looked at me through the corner of her eye,

"Mhmmm" I responded

"Why is the water blue?"

"Uhh…. I don't really know Star. It just is I guess…"

"Oh… well then why is the sky blue sometimes, and purple at other moments?"

"Ummm Star I don't really know the answers to those questions" I said sounding slightly embarrassed. I didn't want her to know I didn't know everything.

"Oh all right. That is fine" she replied sweetly "Umm Robin?"

"Yeah?"

"Is it possibly because it is the 'glum'?" she asked with a cute but confused look on her face.

I chuckled. "No I don't think that's why"

"Oh. Then is it because it is lonely? After all it is the only one of its kind…"

"You mean there's only one sky?" I asked a bit confused about her previous statement.

She nodded "Yes, that is true, correct?" She then turned to face me.

Her beautiful eyes were full of curiosity and her eyebrows pulled together in confusion. She was so cute. I smacked myself inside. She was my best friend…. And team mate. I should not be thinking like that about her. I mean obviously she was perfect; with her gorgeous red hair and her piercing green eyes that I always melted into. Her skin too, was perfectly tan and….. Wow, there I go again, great going Boy Blunder. And now I was staring at her like a complete idiot. Perfect. I snapped out of my reverie as quickly as I could.

"Robin are you all right?" she asked with worry tinting her melodic voice.

"Uhh…. Yeah, sorry what did you ask?" I questioned while scratching the back of my head.

"Oh never mind it was nothing of importance"

"Star, everything you say is important" I replied slowly.

She smiled at me. That perfect, otherworldly smile that brought me to my knees. We were leaning in. Getting closer and closer by the second, I didn't know what was happening, it was all sort of out of the blue.

Our lips finally met in a sweet kiss. My eyes were closed behind my mask and I was enjoying the moment to the fullest. She was so innocent, so beautiful. She was perfect in every aspect of the word. And now she was mine. Her hair swayed behind her gently while my cape flapped in the wind. As we broke apart from our moment of pure bliss she asked once more with a small smile on her face.

"Robin there is only one blue sky, yes?"

I smiled it was a very out of the blue kiss.
