Yuki Sohma was not pleased. He sat at the table of Shigure's house eating a snack that Tohru had made angrily. He was so displeased, even her food couldn't cheer him up. And it was a really yummy jelly bun, too. The reason he was so pissed? Well, it had long flowy, silver hair, absurdly yellow eyes, and a big mouth. A. K. A: Ayame Sohma, his elder brother.
Ayame had sent notice to Shigure a week before that he was closing his shop for a couple days and coming to visit hi m at his house. The problem was, Yuki was given no notice of his brother's sudden arrival, or he would have left long ago on a little trip. Oh well, too late now, only 15 minutes till Ayame's arrival. That was certainly not enough time to book a flight to Europe, or wherever.
"I'm here!" Came a singsong voice from behind one of the doors. Apparently, Ayame was early. "Hello, Shigure!"
Yuki's head hit the table.
"Oh, Hello Aya," Shigure said, taking a jelly bun, "I had no idea you would be paying as a visit today."
Yuki glared up at him from the table. "Sure you didn't. And I love Kyo, too."
Ayame now took the time to notice his little brother. "Hello, there, little brother," He trilled. "It's lovely to see you again! You know, if you want to stop by my shop again, I have some great new dresses for Tohru to try on. One that's pink, a white one, and one that's a little lolita-ish, but I think would look lovely on her, and…"
Yuki stood up as Ayame blathered on. "Excuse me, I'm going to be sick." He left the room without another word.
"What's with him?" Ayame asked, clearly missing the point. "On Yuki's Day of Romance, he really liked the dress that mine and I picked for Tohru to wear…"
Shigure sighed. The dress was not the point at all. "So, Aya, what was it you came here to talk about? The latest strategy for winning over your brother?"
"No, Shigure, I came to talk about YOU." Aya looked at Shigure with his beautiful yellow eyes and Shigure was entranced.
