Percy P.O.V
Right now my life is great. But the sacrifices that had to be made make me wonder if it was worth it. Our world will never be without Hate, Anger, Misery, or Agony. And as long as there are those emotions there will always be Death, Pain, Cruelty, Crime, and Torture. There will always be something we have to fight for, always something that can be taken away from us, always something that can break our hearts and crush our spirits. There will always be something.
Now you're probably wondering 'Why the hell is Percy so deep? He's supposed to be stupid!' If you are thinking that then it means I have most likely fooled everybody in the Mortal World AND the Mythological world into thinking that I'm just some dumb kid who acts on impulse. I'm not. I am actually one of the most intelligent people on the planet. Hell, my GPA score is higher than Annabeth's.
I just chose to hide my Intelligence because I would be rather be ridiculed and insulted for what people THINK I don't have, and actually have, than be ridiculed for something that most people would consider a blessing. I will still be ridiculed either way but at least in my mind I can calculate every single mistake they've made since I first came to camp.
Right now I'm heading to the throne room with the rest of the seven. Hopefully this goes well.
