The Huge Avalanche of Hogwarts
It was a fantastic winter morning at Hogwarts. The lake was nearly completely frozen and the grounds were quiet except for the sounds of the Giant Squid that was trying to break the ice.
Professor Dumbledore headed out after watching the animal try to break the ice in vain. With a flick of his wand the ice vanished.
A few hours later it began to snow. Harry looked out of the window of the common room and thought, 'Oh cool, finally it begins to snow.' It continued to snow for several days. The snow became more and more until it was two metres high. 'This is perfect for a snow castle,' Harry thought. He waved his wand and vanished the snow from the entrance doors. Together with Hermione and Ron he ran out onto the snowy grounds.
Each of the three friends built a snow castle. Ron's looked like a dog. A few minutes later Professor Dumbledore came out of the castle and entered Harry's castle. Inside he found tables and chairs made of snow. Afterwards, he visited Hermione's castle. It was a fairy castle with chairs that had hearts on the back. The professor was surprised that the students built their castles so well. He then entered Ron's castle through the dog's mouth.
A few minutes later it happened. A huge avalanche came down from the roofs of Hogwarts and buried the entrance door and the windows of the lower floors just when it finally stopped snowing.
The three pupils feared that they had to wait in the cold until the snow smelted, but Professor Dumbledore had a better idea. He waved his wand and the entrance to the castle was free again. Afterwards he conjured a magical snowplough, which instantly vanished the whole snow from Hogwarts. However, the three snow castles remained and would forever remind everyone of the huge avalanche of Hogwarts.
