Six. Fucking. Months. He's been gone for six months, not once calling, not answering his phone or any other means of communication. He's finally back and he expects me to just jump back into his arms like this never happened? No. I glared at him from the couch across the room. He returned last night via my window, telling me how much he missed me and that he wishes for my forgiveness. Not likely. I promptly kicked him out and planned to ignore him for the rest of my days. I was somewhat happy that he came to me first after such a long period though, at least he somewhat thought about my feelings. He's catching up with the rest of the Chasers and occasionally glancing over at me.
"You coming to the gathering with us tonight Sieghart?." Please go, I don't wanna be alone with you, if I do I'll give in. I just know it.
He smiles the way he does when he's going to decline something. Crap.
"Sorry guys, not tonight"
Elesis sneered at him. "Suit yourself then Old Man. Don't drool everywhere"
He laughed at her bad joke and ruffled her hair "Don't worry Red. I'll be good".
He followed them out to the car and waved as they drove off. I watched him as he walked slowly towards me with a hesitant look in his eyes. I don't blame him.
" Hello Mari.." eyes cast down, he shuffled his feet across the floor until he was standing in front of me. Hello? Really?. I stared up at him expectantly.
" Explain." I said simply. His eyes still downcast, he bit his lip and looked shyly(ha!) at me through his bangs.
" I'm sorry… I would have come home sooner but I got side tracked…by some things."
"Like what?" I questioned.
"Weeeeell I was tracking down the Serdin Queen to see if she was doing okay in this world and stuff…" He shuffled his feet around like he does when he's lying.
"Your lying." I stated.
He looked offended when he answered me " I'm being truthful, that is the truth." he defended. 'Only half of it.' I silently screamed at him. There was an awkward silence neither of us wanting to break. I couldn't help but admire him, his beautiful grey eyes, his amazing smile, his amazing body that feels so good when its pressed against mine. Oh yeah, I missed that.
" I missed you." I murmured softy. Cheeks pink, I stared down at my folded arms in my lap. I wasn't known for my compassion… so that even surprised me. I heard shuffling, a second later he was on his knees in front of me.
" I missed you too love." I leaned into his embrace as he wrapped his arms around me. I missed that so much. We stayed like that for awhile just enjoying each other. I pulled him in closer loving his warmth. He dragged me unto the floor and into his lap, he turned me so I was facing him. I raised a brow at him. Smiling sheepishly he leaned in and pressed his lips to mine. I leaned into his touch. His hands slid up my shirt and drew patterns on my sides. I pressed more into him enjoying the feeling of his hands on me. He smiled softly against my lips before pulling back to bury his nose in the crook of my neck. I squirmed a little, sensitive area. He chuckled before biting down softly and pushed me next to him. I mock glared at him, flushing at how good that had felt even if it was only for a moment. He winked at me before laying down with his hands behind his head.
" So wanna watch a movie with me" he asked. eyes sparkling. I rolled my eyes before nodding to him and leaning back against the couch.
"Oh and by the way your still not off the hook for leaving for 6 months!" I reminded him.
