Robin decides to coach Kid Flash on his Spanish. (Note: The picture I designed but don't hurt me if the story doesn't involve it. *whimpers in corner*) One Shot. For now. Maybe. I'm conflicted.
"Hey, dude." Robin walks into Kid Flash's room with a book in his hand.
"Yeah? What's up, Rob?" He sets down the controller to the videogame he was playing before Robin walked in.
The Boy Wonder holds up the book, which displays the title 'Learn Something New: Spanish'. "I wanted to teach you Spanish. Just something we could do for fun. Plus I know you're currently failing it."
Kid Flash crosses his arms over his chest. How could he possibly know about his grades?
"Fine," he growls, walking out of his room to get something to eat. Grabbing a bag of chips, he sits down at the table. Robin, who followed him out, sits down in front of him. "Okay. So I checked out the unit you're on, and I turned to that section already. You're on clothing." He flips through a few pages and looks up at KF, who is currently staring at the ceiling, looking very bored.
"Have you even studied this before?" Kid Flash asks. "Yup," is the response, amid the pages flipping.
"Spanish is pretty easy, compared to languages like Latin."
He coughs on his chips. "You know Latin?" he says as he stares at the Boy Wonder with wide eyes. "Yeah. Bats made me learn it. Dunno how that's supposed to help me with my crime fighting skills, though.
Alright. Back to Spanish. Here's your first word: zapatos. What does that mean?"
"Shoes, I think."
"Nice! The next one: camiseta."
"T-shirt."
"Amor."
"We're only on clothes dude! By the way, it's love."
"Like you're loving the way you got me to help you study, even though you knew what you were doing?"
"Exactl-" He frowns.
Robin laughs. "I knew it! You can't play the master, KF."
Robin runs from the room, cackling, leaving the book on the table. The speedster smiles, knowing that Rob's plan had worked.
