One-shot fanfic for... another fanfic. I was inspired by a gripping story entitled 'A spoonful of sugar' by Aedemiel. If you like her story, you might want to check out this ficlet. 1. Description

This story is a one-shot ficlet inspired by a wonderful story published here by Aedemiel, entitled 'A spoonful of sugar'.

Aedemiel's story is a long, multi-chaptered work with several threads and characters, including original lore invented by the author and a gripping plot. I was irresistibly inspired by one of the threads she develops in her brilliant fanfiction, which plays the part of canon in regard to this work. Thus, you can think of this story as meta-fanfiction or double-fanfiction. To fully enjoy it, you have to read 'A spoonful of sugar' first (at least to 10th chapter), and of course know Supernatural.

As you might have guessed, this ficlet is heavily embedded in the canonical story - not only in the lore invented by the author, but also in the emotional tension she managed to build up. I'd describe it as 'canon-divergent' from Chapter 10.

I contacted the author before publishing my text, but don't expect any spoilers to 'A spoonful of sugar' here. I know nothing about the author's plans. Any revelations in this fic are just my guesses based on the canon story up to Ch10.
