" Hey girl. How's my darling doing?" he asked. I looked to my side. Kori and her boyfriend, Richard never seem to stop doing that.

I sat there waiting and waiting, finally he came. The guy whom I had liked for about five years now. I know it seems a bit over the top but it's true. He was my best friend and my crush. I laughed at that thought. Best friends never become more…

He came out from the double doors of the school and headed towards me.

" Sorry to keep you waiting. I had to stay back to finish a paper. Hehe." He apologized.

"Nah. No prob. Let's go then. And your sis said your having dinner at my place. She's staying over at Jennifer's house and your dad and mum are at a dinner. Unless you have the usual date tonight. Hmmmm Terra? Or was it Tara? Sigh. That's what you get from dating twins."

" Nope. No date tonight. But I have something important to do. Could you help me?"

"Depends. What is the something important?"

"I'm going to confess to a girl. Well, the girl of my dreams. Sounds corny but yeah. So, will you help me?"

"Sigh. What do I have to do??"

"Just come to the light house tonight yeah?"

I sighed for the third time and nodded my head. Why do I always do these things for him? Even though I know I'm gonna be hurt anyway…

We headed to my house after that completely normal.

That night….

He left already. Five minutes till I have to be at the lighthouse…

I was there already anyway. I saw him approach me.

" Hi. Thanks for coming. She's here already."

" Oh. Who is she anyway? You never seem to work this hard for any girl…ever."

He smiled. That sweet, sultry smile.

" Oh. I'll be spoiling it if I tell you."

I looked at him teasingly.

Suddenly I stopped… he was looking into my eyes. His beautiful forest green eyes stared at me.

" W-w-where is s-she?"

" Well, she's near. She's beautiful. Sweet soft violet eyes. Heavenly smile. Soft lips..." he said slowly… but after he said the last one, he kissed me. Slowly and sweetly.

He tasted like cherries. The kiss lasted long enough for me to lose my balance, in which he saved me from falling. Hah. I was so wobbly.

" I think I know who she is already." I said and smiled.

He grinned, " Well, good. Coz then I get to kiss her again."

The second kiss was fiery, and passionate. I was basically swept off my feet. He picked me up bridal style and carried me all the way down to his car and drove me home. That night, when he sat me down on my bed he asked me something.

" Raven, will you be mine?" he asked me.

I smiled playfully, " Sure. Why not?"

He laughed," Was that a proper yes? Or a, I'll say yes cause I have nothing better to do yes?"

" Garfield, I've liked you for about five years now, I'm saying a proper

yes." I smiled and kissed him again…
