The Past

The sun comes up
The sun goes down.
As I drink my tea,
I realize how fast my past has gone.
I had to rush everywhere,
And anywhere,
To stop the whole thing from getting out of control.
But I couldn't have stopped it alone.
Four others were by my side.
The trained one, the cocky one,
The quiet one, and the one that believed in
Justice.
I was known as the innocent one, to them.
Even though we piloted a machine of
Mass murder.
Why did they take us?
Why didn't they just train adults?
Is it because they knew if life before fighting?
Questions like these keep popping up in my mind.
Then, the evil one's, killed my father and
My eldest sister,
Right before my very eyes.
Something then clicked and I went insane.
I thought I killed the only person I had trusted.
But I was wrong.
Now, the war has ended
I can't see myself taking over my Father's business
With all this blood, dripping between
My fingers.
As I watch the blood drip,
I see all the people's faces,
Scared of the fast approaching machine,
With weapons drawn, ready to kill.
I hear their screams and pleas
For mercy.
But I had to kill them.........
That's okay, right?
After a year of peace,
It all started up again.
Soon, the machines of mass murder had to
Be resurrected once again.
But as soon as that one started,
It was put out just as quick.
With the help of Allies,
We defeated them.
Blood was still shed,
And screams were still heard,
But that's the past now.
We need to forget it
And move on with our lives.
Don't we?
