Pacific Rim: Infinite Jaeger

"You know, I never thought I'd ever go to IS Academy."
A brown haired teen carried a bag over his shoulder as he stepped off the boat that brought him to the most prestigious schools in the world for Infinite Stratos training. He looked to be about seventeen years old with lightly tanned skin. He wore the standard IS uniform, altered due to his gender.
"Least of all to a place where they train women to use fancy suits with over the top weapons."
The boy passed through the hallway, passing a few girls, some whispering to each other as he went by. The boy shrugged it off, he didn't care about what people thought of him. He only cared about graduating.
"But not many people know that the Infinite Stratos wasn't the only suit that was being built. Course, what I'm talking about is less of a suit and more of mech."
The boy bumped into one girl, he uttered a quick apology before moving on. If he had stayed, he would've noticed the girl's blue hair and ruby eyes. She smirked slightly to herself.
"Everyone talks about how innovative the ISs are."
Standing at the edge of the training arena, the boy stood across from the only other male in the school who had just deployed his own IS suit. The boy was wearing a black suit with an eagle on either shoulder, however, the suit was more like light armor than the skimpy body gloves IS users wear.
"But no one talks about what might have been had an alternative been pursued."
A bright light engulfed the boy as a massive figured rose up.
"Then again."
The light faded and revealed a massive robot that completely overshadowed the IS across from him. The robot let out a thunderous horn as a turbine burst to life in its chest. A hellish orange glow bathed his opponent as the machine powered up.
"That just makes the Jaegers more unique."
The robot smashed its left hand into its right palm, causing some sparks to fly.
