The Hero of the West
It was a clear night. The sky's full moon shone it's ghostly, pale white light on the vast empty desert. The shadows of the cacti could be seen everywhere on the dark, cold, brown sand. There was complete silence in the empty desert. The wind blew softly as Frank and Joe Hardy watched from behind a bush for Edward . Suddenly the silence was completely broken by the sound of whinnying and galloping hooves. There was a horse barely visible in the dark shadows. On the horse rode a hooded figure within a black robe. The figure had a rifle laid on his lap and was tall and terrifying. The man rode as swift as the wind towards a little town sleeping peacefully in the distance. Suddenly the two heroes Frank and Joe leaped out and gave chase after the villain. As the stranger was riding through the village, 25 armed men stepped out from their hiding places. These men made a tight circle around him.
One of them shouted, "You can't get away this time Dark Magician Edward!"
"Oh yes I can!" he laughed loudly.
With that he charged, breaking through the circle and blasting them out of the way. He left them choking on their dust, leaving them unconscious for an hour. As they revived, the sun was rising, casting bright golden beams of light on their backs.
As the darkness was fading, an eerie cry echoed in the village
"Noooooooo!!"
It was the bank owner.
"My money. He took 1 million dollars," He howled, broke down and wept.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch as people were still unconscious, the Heroes Frank and his brother Joe were still chasing the evil magician Edward through the desert. They kept on chasing him to the edge of a cliff. Frank steped forward smiling. Then he whipped his lasso out and threw it around him. But Edward kicked sand into his eyes and face, while lashing at the lasso with his dagger. He pointed his pistol at Joe. He started running as fast as he could and cornered them at the edge of the cliff. Frank got the sand out of his eyes just as Edward shot! Joe faithfully reflected the bullet. It hit Edward's leg. Frank took the money from him. He pushed Edward off the edge of the cliff. There Edward fell to his death landing on a cactus.
Frank and Joe hardy then went to the village and gave the money to the banker. The town was so grateful; they gave Frank and Joe medal, wrapping up this action packed story to a perfect ending!!!
