"Hey, Tabs."

Tabitha and Brodie were alone in their squad's training room.

Tabitha had ordered the grunts to try locate the blue orb while Brodie, being Tabitha's self-appointed 'left-hand' man, stayed behind and decided to practice his disguises, train Ditto and annoy the hell out of Tabitha.

"What, Brodie?" Tabitha asked.

"You got to stop stealing my role."

The commander blinked in confusion.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

Brodie grinned in response.

"Oh c'mon. You're always stealing."

Tabitha arched an eyebrow.

"What the hell are you on about? I'm a commander, not a thief like you. The only times I have stole something was when it was necessary for a mission."

Tabitha was getting annoyed by now.

"Yeah right, you've stolen something from me."

"What on-" Brodie interrupted him, a cheshire cat grin on his face.

"I think I should warn you, I'm the thief, not you." Tabitha was getting very annoyed and confused now.

"What the hell Brodie? Are you high or something? I'm not a thief!" He punched the younger man on the head.

"Someone's cranky today." And the thief was still smiling.

'What a freaking weirdo. Laughs and smiles when in pain. I wonder what would happen if I told him a joke?' Tabitha dismissed the thought and retorted.

" 'Course I'm cranky. You're here."

Brodie then frowned, effectively shocking his superior who had always viewed the thief as an insane, crossdressing, happy-go-lucky guy.

"That wasn't very nice." Then the stupid grin returned.

"...Eh, Tabby-Neko?"

Tabitha cursed under his breath. If he calls him that one more time...

"At least I'm not a crossdressing robber reject."

The words put the man of a thousand faces into temporary shock.

The (handsome) man in front of him never made insults like that, no matter how much he pushed his buttons. Maybe he went too far this time.

Then again, in the thief's eyes there was no such thing as going too far.

Tabitha sighed in frustration.

The inferior man was crazy, irritating, unprofessional and confusing.

Why did he have to be stuck with this weirdo?

He hated everything about him.

He was a crafty, mischevious, playful, talented, smart, attractive...

Wait what?! Rewind a bit Tabitha, attractive? Seriously? That man?

Ok, he would admit the flamboyant, irritating master thief was a bit attractive, screw attractive, more like hot, handsome and gorgeous, but Brodie still grated on his nerves and he despised him. Right? ...He didn't even understand himself anymore...

"Tabs? Tabby? Earth to Tabby-Neko, you there?" Brodie waved his hand in front of the Magma admin's face. Tabitha quickly snapped back to reality and slapped the hand away.

"For the love of Arceus, don't call me that stupid name. It's Tabitha, Commander to you, not frigging Tabby-Neko. "

"Oh I'm sorry, Commander." The crazy haired man mocked. Then there was a silent pause.

"Just give it back."

Tabitha groaned. Not this again.

"Give you what back?"

"You stole it, you should know."

"What are you ON, Brodie?" Tabitha inquired, frustrated.

"Crack. No seriously, you have robbed me. I'm not joking."

"Then what did I steal?" Tabitha was tired, fed up and angry.

Brodie leaned in close, so close their noses were touching, and whispered two words in his ear.

"My heart." He then briefly pressed his lips to the other's before dashing off, out of either shyness or fear of being slaughtered by the admin.

Tabitha stood there in shock before reality hit him and his face heated up with a violent blush.

"Damn you Brodie!"Despite his apparent anger, he looked in the thief's direction and touched his lips, still feeling the heat from the brief but amazing kiss. He wouldn't admit it but Brodie had stole his too.
