It was a normal day at ESSC high school. Kai was being his normal, grumpy self, in the corner of the classroom. Tyson was fooling around with his blade as usual.
"Wow, cool!" Exclaimed Max with a bit of disbelief. "I can't believe you actually managed to make your blade spin on your nose!"
"Oh, what can I say? It's a gift!" Replied Tyson, still so sure of himself.
Then, as nervous as can be, Ray politely told them: "You guys, sit down! We have an exam, and I don't wanna fail it."
"No we don't!" Replied Max and Tyson.
"We have a test today!" The teacher said.
"Hate to say I told you so but…"
"Ray, stop talking!"
Ray couldn't even finish his sentence when the teacher interrupted him.
"Ha, ha, loser!" Tyson teased Ray.
The teacher started handing out the answer sheets to the students. They all, some more confident than others, started to write down their answers.
"Pssst, Ray!"
"Tyson, shut up! You'll get us both in trouble!"
"Oh please, detention would do you some good."
Ray lets out a big sigh before replying. "What do you want?"
"I'm drawing a blank at the first question."
"The one where they ask you the atomic number of chloride?"
"No, the one before that!"
"You mean the whole where they ask you your name?"
"Yeah, that's the one!"
Ray sighs. "It's Tyson!"
"Ray, stop talking!"
The teacher had once again, caught Ray in the act.
"Hey, Ray, want some chips? They're your favorite kind: Ketchup!" Tyson puts down the bag of chips on Ray's desk.
"I don't want your stupid chips, I'm trying to do a test here don't you mind! And by the way, my favorite kind is B.B.Q.!"
"Ray, stop talking and no eating in class, especially not junk food like this!"
"But, they're not mine!"
"But he has to eat, he's a diabetic!" Replied Tyson, trying to back up Ray.
"No, I'm not!" Replied Ray, confused.
"Work with me here!" Tyson said.
"I don't care!" The teacher said while taking the bag of chips and bringing it to her desk where she starts eating the chips, while trying to hide it.
"What's that sound? It seems like somebody's eating chips." Max said.
"What are you all looking at? Get back to your tests!" The teacher says with some chips in her mouth.
Meanwhile, the students get back to their tests. A few minutes later, Ray's pencil lead broke. Looking into his pencil case, he realized that he had forgotten his pencil sharpener.
"Pssst, Tyson, do you have a pencil sharpener?"
"Nope, sorry Ray, I only use propelling pencils."
"Hey Max…"
"Ray, for the last time, stop talking!"
"But…"
"No buts!"
"I guess I'll have to use a wax crayon." He thought. The only thing remaining in his pencil case was a pack of old wax crayons. He decided to take the black one, seeing as it would be more suitable for a test.
"Ray, you know you're only supposed to use pencils during exams."
"But…"
"Speak one more time and it's the principal's office young man!"
"Here, use mine. I've been done for about twenty minutes now." Kai surprisingly said.
"Thanks."
"That's it! To the principal's office!"
"But, I just said thanks. I didn't wanna be rude."
"I don't care! To the principal's office, now!"
"But, I'm not done!"
"Then why were you talking?"
"But… But… But…"
"That's enough buts coming from you young man!"
"But… But…"
"Shut up! You, principal's office, now!"
Ray gets up to leave the classroom and the whole class starts saying: "Ooo!"
"Wow… Ray gets in trouble? Now that's a first!" Kenny says aloud.
Later that day as Ray was making his way to detention; he saw that the results of the morning's test were up on the billboard. He decided to stop and take a look at his mark. He was surprised to what he saw.
"What? An F! I'm the only one who failed! Even Tyson passed! This is so not fair!"
And with that, he took it like a man.
"What? How the hell is this possible?"
I said, LIKE A MAN!
"I'll show you like a man!"
