My first ever Nodame Cantabile story...It's a oneshot, obviously. I know it's short, but you know... Just to try something new. I super love this anime, and i also love the live-action. It's amazing!
NODAME'S POV
I know i've been a little strange. They never really understand me. Why do they always want to change me? Am i not good enough for them? Do i need to become who i'm not just for them to like me? This is too much. I know i'm going to graduate sooner or later. I'm in my last year here in the conservatoire... But i'm still not progressing, that's what they say. After all these years of studying... I'm not good enough. I keep trying to do my best, but i'm always left behind by the others.
"Nodame..." i heard senpai's voice coming through the door. Again.
"Nodame! Open the door. You've never been out there since what, 3 weeks ago... Please talk to me! I can't stand this anymore. I'm worried sick about you. And... And i miss you. Please! Open the door." he shouted.
Naturally... Chiaki-senpai has been out there, banging on my door every single day and night. I decided not go to school anymore, because i completely had enough. I don't know if i could see senpai now. I have no face to show him. He will completely be angry and partially irritated at me. So it's for the best not to open that god damn door.
"NODAME! PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR! I NEED TO SEE YOU! ... I MISS YOU, ALRIGHT! PLEASE! DON'T DO THIS TO ME! I NEED YOU!"
"Senpai..." I sighed. Should i open it now?
CHIAKI'S POV
I'm tired of this. Why am i always the one who's chasing her? That hentai... When i'm about to give up. Suddenly, the door opened.
"Senpai..." This... This... THIS HENTAI! She's so dirty. She looks like a poor beggar... No, lower than a poor beggar. She's... How... She looks so thin and messy and thin... Probably she didn't ate for those 3 weeks of staying here in her room. My Nodame... How can she...? Not sensing of what i'm doing, i loose control. I hugged her tightly, even though she's dirty and fragile-looking.
"You... Why did you do this?" I pulled her to tighten the hug. I heard her sigh.
"I'm sorry... It's just that..."
"Shh... It's okay now. Please don't do this again! I was near giving up, you know."
"I... Love... You... Senpai..." she whispered suddenly in my chest.
"I Love you too, Nodame... I always have..."
