See You Again
Sure, they both remembered it but it wasn't as if they actually thought about it. That would be like mental suicide, catapulting their brains into an oblivion of nightmare. No, remembering was not something they were fond of. In fact, it was something they avoided, at all costs, no matter what. Yet when they saw each others' faces they could do nothing but remember.
Hers was in a pale completion and her clear, blue eyes made her appear as though she were always deep in thought. Her dress was still a cotton-candy pink yet, this time, it did not give off the illusion that she still held onto her innocence. Her brown hair cascaded down her back like a chocolate waterfall, not too similar from the one they had seen at the factory. Yet, she'd changed in a way he could quite put his finger on. But, when he really thought about it, change wasn't the right word. Matured was more like it. Yes, definitely matured.
His was more rough than it was back then but it was still... clean. His brown hair was ruffled on top of his head and he wore a simple red shirt, accompanied by jeans. His eyes were the type that could stare deep into the soul. She could tell he'd changed too, matured to be precise. She couldn't tell how or why, but she felt as though this... guy... had finally grown into his skin.
They eyes lock and they knew. That was that. They'd remember forever.
