A/N: Episode Tag for 'First Commandment". This has been hanging around in my mind for awhile and its been sitting in my computer for awhile so I thought I may as well upload it. this hasn't had a Beta look at it sorry!

"This isn't about revenge" Captain Carter stated "maybe not for you" Lieutenant Conner replied, "Excuse me? How could this not be about revenge for me?" She turned to face the taller man as he brushed past her "Have you even met Captain Hanson? Have you ever seen him?" his face showed pain as he remembered what the Higher-ranking man had done "I was engaged to Jonas for 2 years. I left him when he beat me to a bloody pulp and left me lying on the floor of my own apartment while he walked away to go on another of his bloody Black Ops missions. I spent 6 and a half months in and ICU ward 2 of those in a coma. You cannot tell me this isn't about revenge Lieutenant" She fought back tears as she remembered what her ex fiancé had done to her.

Stop trying to cry! It was a year ago. Its in the past now! She mentally reminded herself.

"Hold on Carter" Her CO Jack O'Neill turned round to face them "He Beat you up and then left on a Black Ops Mission? Who the hell found you? And what the hell is he still doing in the Air Force? Not to mention out of Jail?" He was livid.

Who on earth would beat up Carter?

"My Godfather found me, he was coming around to congratulate me on my promotion that I had just received, which was the reason Jonas was angry in the first place. I don't know why he's still in the air force My father and Godfather both protested his remaining but I know that he didn't go to jail because his lawyer friend 'misplaced' the evidence" she answered all of his questions as best as she could. "He was placed on a probationary period with the Air force though, and he was taken of the Special Ops list. That was all George and my Father could do"

"George? As in General George Hammond?" Jack Asked.

"Yes General Hammond Was my Fathers best friend since they where both in the academy" she replied smiling at the look of astonishment on her CO's face.

"And who might your father be?" "General Jacob Carter retired" "General Carter… Oh for crying out loud! That guy HATES me!"

"Why would Daddy hate you?" She asked, her father didn't hate many people just the ones who really really annoyed him "I may have said/done some things that annoyed him while I was under his command a while back" "oh do tell…Sir"
