Hermione sat at her transfiguration desk, trying her hardest to pay attention to Professor McGonagall as she explained the day's lesson. However Hermione had so much on her mind that she found it almost impossible to stay focused.

It was her final year at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry and lately Hermione had been having second thoughts and regrets about how she had spent the last 6 years of her life. Sure, she was the smartest witch in her grade, and she was going to have a choice of any career she wanted when she left. Her near perfect school record and large amount of O.W.L.S. and N.E.W.T.S. were the most impressive scores seen in a while at the school. It wasn't that Hermione wasn't proud of herself, it was just that she felt like she had missed out on a lot of things because she had been too busy studying and doing homework.
