Another request from tate310, this time it's "Thomas, Percy and the Squeak" from Season 6. Enjoy and comment.
The engines on the Island of Sodor love summer, especially when Sir Topham Hatt puts on concerts. Lots of people come to hear all sorts of wonderful music, and the engines can hear the music from miles away.
One morning, the engines were very excited. Alicia Botti, the world's most famous singer, was coming to Sodor.
As Gordon chuffed into Knapford Station, he noticed a poster. It read.

Tonight
At the Castle
Gordon remembered what type of singer Alicia Botti was.
"She's a coloratura!" he said importantly.
"What's a coloratura?" asked Thomas.
"It means she can sing high notes very loud."
"Sir Topham Hatt will choose me to collect her!" boasted James. "I'm the brightest and the shiniest engine!"
"Nonsense! I'm the most important engine on Sodor!" huffed Gordon crossly.
Thomas wanted to fell important too.
"He might choose me!" he said, hopefully.
Gordon was still in a sour mood when Percy pulled up beside him.
"Well one thing's for sure!" he snorted. "He certainly won't choose dirty little Percy!"
"Don't call me dirty!" he chuffed crossly as he puffed away.
But the next day, Sir Topham Hatt didn't choose Gordon or James to collect Alicia Botti. He choose Thomas!
"Make sure Annie and Clarabel are spotless." he said.
"Yes sir!" said Thomas proudly. He felt very important.
When he arrived at the washdown, he saw Percy and Gordon. They were very cross.
"Move aside, dirty Percy!" chuffed Thomas. "I'm the most important engine today!"
"But I need a wash down!" wailed Percy. "My passengers will laugh at me!"
"And I need to be squeaky clean!" huffed Thomas. "So you'll have to wait!"
"I can't wait! I need to be washed now!"
"Sorry Percy, but I'm more important today than you!"
This made Percy very cross, and he puffed away.
Soon Thomas was cleaned. He felt more important than ever. But as the workers coupled Annie and Clarabel, they heard a strange sound.
"Squeak!"
"What's that?" answered Thomas anxiously.
His driver oiled Annie and Clarabel undercarriage.
"That should take care of that nasty squeak!" he said.
On the way to the docks, the squeak was heard again.
"Why is it still squeaking?" asked Thomas.
"We've done everything we could." said the driver.
Alicia Botti was waiting at Brendam Docks. She was dressed very fancy.
Sir Topham Hatt held Clarabel' door open when...
"A MOUSE!"
Alicia Botti screamed, and screamed, and screamed some more! The screams were so loud, that it could be heard all across Sodor, and windows smashed all around!
Gordon was admiring the Alicia Botti poster again and heard the scream.
"That's definitely a coloratura!" he chuckled.
Alicia Botti was beyond cross.
"I demanded a clean coach, and you give me one with a mouse!"
Sir Topham Hatt was embarrassed. He turned to Thomas.
"I told you Thomas, that I wanted clean all around, and you couldn't even listen!"
Thomas felt upset.
Just then, dirty Percy arrived back from his guaranteed connection. He was still cross.
"Look at the little green engine!" Alicia Botti exclaimed. "Very dirty, just like a proper steam engine!"
Percy was pleased.
Alicia Botti boarded Percy' coaches, and they set away.
The concert that night was a success. Her voice was heard all across Sodor.
As for the mouse, Sir Topham Hatt gave the mouse it's own home in the corner of Tidmouth Sheds. Thomas named the mouse "Alicia"
