The Rain
The rain hit hard against our skin. An unexplained sensation of panic washed over me, more fierce then the rain. "Y-you'll be okay…" I whispered, my lips brushing against your fist clenched weakly in mine. You chuckled weakly. "S-so stupid…" Wide eyes half lidded and out of breath you continued. "I-if one lives, it should be you, you -'' I leaned forward, kissing your scar, making you whimper softly. You thought it to be a mark of betrayal, that you couldn't protect me in our past life but I saw it as a promise. It was your weak spot and I often teased you. "I- is-"
"Lea, it's okay…"
My eyes burned with a sudden hatred. 'You bastard! Why are you so selfish?"
"Why are you so stupid as to love me?" I felt your body become more limp by the second. "I-Isa, if you leave me- I swear to God-" With what strength you had left, you kissed me. 'It's okay,"
