The Importance of Breakfast

They all knew. Lavender Brown had walked in on her and Malfoy kissing in a closet. And now as Ginny Weasley walked into the Great Hall for breakfast, she could feel everyone's eyes on her. She could sense how disgusted the Gryffindors were with her. She was dating the enemy.

Thank god she hadn't run into Harry, Ron, or Hermione. She could only imagine the chilliness they would have when they next saw her. It was a known fact that the dynamic trio was enemies with Malfoy. She could only imagine her brother's reaction, what the hell's wrong with you? Why would you want to date Draco Malfoy?

She sighed and the Great Hall continued to stare at her. She couldn't take the stares, glares, and hate anymore. She quickly left the Hall and headed outside to the lake. The lake was Ginny's safe haven. She was always able to think there without being disturbed. She had had her first kiss by the side of the lake with Michael Corner. She had gone here with Dean Thomas too. They were both good guys, but she wasn't with a good guy anymore. She was with an arrogant asshole.

Why was she still with Malfoy? There was something that drew her in. He was ice, and she fire. She wanted to melt the cold exterior around his heart. That was what drew her in, but what kept her? The sense of adventure, excitement, and okay maybe the snogging was good too. She groaned it was frustrating to think about her relationships with guys. And then she heard breathing from behind her. She smiled at the sound.

"I got you breakfast." He told her awkwardly.

She nodded and gave him a small smile, "Thank you."

He shrugged and then asked, "Care to tell me why you ran out of the Hall?"

"They were staring at me." She told him and he laughed, "It's not funny."

"I don't blame them for staring at you. You're eye candy, Red." He told her.

She smiled, "You're not a bad sight yourself Malfoy."

He grinned, "I know."

She smiled and looked down at her breakfast; there were a lot of pancakes. "Umm…pancakes…you're a god!"

Malfoy grinned, "You think I'm a god?"

"A big obnoxious and arrogant one, but yes a god nonetheless" She told him.

"I can live with that." He said.

"I've heard some rumors about you, Malfoy." She tells him. There is an awkward silence, but neither one wants to break it.

Malfoy was the one who in the end broke the silence, "Yes?"

"I heard you get a new girlfriend every week. And sometimes if they're good in bed, you'll keep them for a month."

Another inevitable, but painful silence. Finally Draco breaks it, "That's right." She nodded. That's what she had been expecting. Then shockingly Draco adds, "But have you noticed we've been going out for more than a month and we haven't slept together yet?"

Ginny grins, "Is that your bazaar way to tell me that you like me?"

He nods, "Why else would I bring you breakfast?"

"You never gave the girls you slept with breakfast afterwards." She asked.

"No." He replies.

"Wow you are an ass." Ginny tells him. He laughs and she kisses him, "So was Parkinson good?"

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"In bed. Was Pansy good?" She repeats.

"That would be like me asking you if Dean Thomas was good in bed." He tells her.

"Who said I ever had sex?" She asks in a voice of mystique.

"You're a virgin?" He asks startled.

"You'll just have to judge that for your own on Saturday." She kisses him and then leaves, and right before she is out of site she turns around and says, "And I expect breakfast!" He nods.

AN: That was terrible, wasn't it? There was a lot of fluff. It's my first one and it sucks. Please leave a review, and give me tips for my next one.
