A/N. This has been re-written and my writing style has changed a lot so you should re read this. Feel free to let me know if you like/dislike the change. Also I realized my title has little relevance to the story since it is primarily Dramionie. But if you have a title suggestion, leave it in a review. So far I've thought of: The Dragons Slave
It was the second day of the new school year and Blaise and Draco were already hard at work. For the past few hours they had set up camp in the Slytherin common room and aside from a butterbeer break, they had been fully absorbed in their assignment. This itself was enough to earn them a few odd stares from the first year Slytherins who were too new to know any better. All the other students were well aware of what the pair was up to and were eager for them to finish. No professor of Hogwarts had given them this assignment; instead they had assigned themselves the same assignment every year since fourth year.
***FLASHBACK***
"So what do you think of Milicent Bulstrode?" Marcus Flint asked carelessly, as if he was just trying to make casual conversation.
Draco sneered, grabbed the remaining piece of his bread roll and pushed himself away from the table.
That should give him an idea of what I think he thought as he strolled out of the great dining hall. He knew that behind him there were plenty of eyes watching him, some of them filled with love and others with hatred. He made sure that his cloak flared behind him as he disappeared around the corner. Almost every day guys would ask Draco of his opinion about girls. For the Slytherins this was a way of seeking both Dracos approval and the approval of others in their house, because of course whatever Draco approved of, the rest accepted.
"Draco!" a voice yelled. He turned to look behind him and saw Blaise Zabini sauntering towards him.
"So Millicent eh?" Blaise choked out through a laugh. Draco rolled his eyes.
"You know," Blaise continued, "I think that you may start getting asked about the Weasly girl in the next year or so."
Draco slowed to a halt. "Her?! Have you completely lost it mate?"
"Trust me Draco, I see potential." Blaise grinned knowingly, as if he had already spent quality time imagining how the next few years would do some good for her.
"Blaise I knew you were mentally challenged, but seriously? We're not too far from the hospital wing, I think we should stop by." Draco rolled his eyes and started walking again.
"Draco you just wait and see." Blaise yelled after him as he continued to stare off into space.
Draco entered the common room and lay on the silver chaise set by the fireplace. He had not even gotten completely comfortable before Pansy Parkinson walked in.
"Draco!" She coo'd. She placed herself on the edge of the chaise by his knee. In her right hand she was holding an intricately carved silver mirror. You could tell the mirror, although in immaculate condition, was an old family treasure.
"Draco darling, tell me, who is the prettiest girl in Hogwarts?" She asked as she admired her reflection.
This caused Draco to sigh. He was about to answer her but he stopped when a brilliant idea came to mind. He swung his legs over the other side of the chaise and stood.
"That is a good question pansy, I'll get back to you on that one."
Pansy huffed, "You are supposed to say 'you', 'you are the prettiest of them all Pansy'."
But Draco hardly heard her as he swept out of the room. Dracos idea was brewing and he needed to find Blaise.
Later...
"So like FBI's?" Blaise asked.
"What?" Draco asked.
"Like you know, Female Body Inspectors!"
"Yeah, yeah sure FBI's." Draco nodded.
"Perfect when do we start?" Blaise rubbed his hands together in glee.
"Now."
***End FLASHBACK***
As self proclaimed FBI's, every year they created a list of the top 10 hottest witches at Hogwarts. Everybody who knew anything there was to know about the social order of Hogwarts knew that Draco and Blaise were its creators and no one dared to openly challenge them about it. In private however, the list was among the most discussed subjects in the first week of every year. Even those who had little to no interest in the subject couldn't help but talk about it.
Hermione had her nose shoved into the morning paper but even still she couldn't help but feel as if everyone was staring at her. She had even double checked the back of her clothes to make sure that nothing odd had decided to stick to her on her way to the great hall. When she finally entered the hall, hundreds of hushed whispers and if she was not mistaken a few whistles made their ways to her ears. Her suspicions were confirmed, something was definitely up.
Hermione scanned the Gryffindor table. Ron and Harry were nowhere to be seen. They've probably slept in again Hermione sighed. At least Ginny had managed to make it.
"Ginny!" She waved as she sat down. "What is the matter with everyone?! People have been ogling at me as if they've seen a ghost this entire morning!"
Ginny grinned, "Don't you know Hermione, you've been declared the hottest witch at Hogwarts!"
"What on earth are you on about? How can you just declare something absurd as that? And who would do such a thing? Don't tell me Dumbledore is now rating girls. Merlin help him. Tell me Dumbledore hasn't completely lost it." She stared worriedly towards the head table, Dumbledore noticed and raised his hand and waved back cheerfully. Hermione managed a feeble smile.
"Hermione don't be silly! The "Which Witch List" was posted last night! Everyone's seen it. You know the one Draco and Blaiseeee write every year." Ginny said practically purring when she said Blaises name.
"You're telling me that people take that thing seriously?" Hermione rolled her eyes. She then glanced at her watch and proceeded to get up from the table while grabbing a piece of toast. "I forgot something I need for my first class back in the Heads dorm. I'll catch up with you later.
Hermione made her way out of the Great Hall. As she walked down a hallway she noticed something in the distance. It was bright, silver, and seemed to be made out of hundreds of moving silver sparkles. As Hermione neared she saw that it was a giant silver orb charmed to hold a piece of paper within it. When she stepped up to the orb, it became still and the orb became clear so that she could read the beautiful cursive writing on the paper.
The paper read:

Review! Short chapters for now as I'm just getting back into writing it. Also, let me know what you think is the best way to do scene changes in the middle of chapters.
