Tennis is a sport played by people. Clay plays tennis. He is a person. Today is his first day at Super Mario Mario Fan Club Tennis Academy, and he is excited to finally be going there.
Clay plays tennis because Clay is a person.
"WELL HOWDY THERE BUDDY," yelled a man with a backwards cap. "YOU THE ROOKIE ALL EVERYONE HAS BEEN YAPPING ABOUT?"
Clay didn't quite understand what this man was going on about, but was presented with options anyway. He nodded his head slowly, and then the man grabbed him in a swift motion.
"WELL BUDDY WELCOME TO SUPER MARIO MARIO FAN CLUB TENNIS ACADEMY I AM ALEX," he yelled right in Clay's ear. Clay wanted to say something about this, but couldn't because he's a silent protagonist.
Alex gave him a tour of the academy, showing off all of the tennis it had to offer. Wow, that's a lot of tennis. Backwards cap yelling man introduced Clay to a bunch of losers.
"THESE ARE A BUNCH OF UNLOCKABLE CHARACTERS THAT YOU PROBABLY WILL NEVER USE BECAUSE YOU'RE TOO BUSY WITH THE STORY," yelled Alex. "ISN'T THIS EXCITING?"
Clay responded with a small "repeatedly tapping the A button" and they moved on.
"OK ITS TIME FOR THE SUPER ULTRA FUN TIME WELCOMING EXERCISE TIME!"
Clay passed out because he is a person, and not a robot.
