Journey's End
The days go by,
While I'm away.
While I head onwards,
On my way.
…
I go through grass,
I look in trees.
But I'm alone,
They hide from me.
…
No trainer fights,
They know they'll lose.
Wild pokémon,
No fight they choose.
…
Badges eight,
All on display.
While I try,
To find my way.
…
I keep on walking,
The hour's late.
Feel I've passed,
A final gate.

And so I head,
Up to the sky.
Up silver mountain,
Will not fly.

Must walk the stone,
The final path.
To make as long,
This journey last.

And here I am,
High at the top.
Journey's over,
Time has stopped.

And so I wait,
In boredom, dread.
Whispering,
"My name is Red."
