A/N. Caucasian: I have decided that, because Asian and I are such awful updaters, we're going to do something nice to tide you over. Thus this story.

It's kind of like a preview of what's going to happen later on, with very little in the way of setting and such, because it's just our ideas that we wrote down so we could check them over for each other. They'll all get worked into The Case of the Hypocritical Killer at some point, though. Maybe improved through your feedback.

Because they're just ideas and not full scenes yet, they don't have setups, so at the beginning we'll give you a basic rundown of who, when, and where.

Every time Asian and I wait more than a week to update, you'll get one of these babies. Sound good to you all?

Disclaimer: We still own nothing.

This one's mine (Caucasian's), just a little teaser of what's to come, to start you out, one that will probably be coming soon. Very soon. As in like in three chapters.

Who: Sabrina, Hannah, Hailey, Bella Amphibian and co.

When: Upcoming Monday or Tuesday morning of current storyline.

Where: Ferryport Landing High School bathroom.

Sabrina's one vanity was her hair. She held no illusions about the rest of herself- she'd been stunted by the lack of proper food at the orphanage and her grandmother's house, and never recovered; she still had none of her mother's slender yet shapely curves; and her face was... her face- but her hair was long, just thick enough, sleek, shiny, with just a hint of wave, and a very nice golden color that was hard to find naturally on a human girl, and she was proud of it.

She was also smart enough not to let her male housemate know just how much she liked it, so she went to great lengths not to let him see her take care of it. Let him think it was just naturally like that.

That was why she was hanging out in the girl's bathroom before school started on Monday morning, brushing leave-in conditioner deeper into her hair while Hannah applied makeup (a rare occasion, but Bradley had just switched into her first period class, so Sabrina knew why) and Hailey tried to get a toothpaste-stain out of her jacket.

"I can't believe-" Sabrina was saying, but the door opened, letting in a rush of noise from outside, and four girls. Heading the group was Bella Amphibian.

"Oh." Bella said, stopping short in the middle of a laugh.

"Come on, girls, let's go somewhere else." Sabrina said stiffly, folding up her brush and shoving it into her backpack.

Hailey and Hannah looked at each other and shrugged. They'd long ago gotten used to Sabrina and Bella's icy treatment of each other, and both knew the story of Bella's betrayal in sixth grade. They also knew Sabrina's penchant for grudge-holding, and though neither of them had a huge problem with Bella other than that she was a rather catty queen bee type who would be the center of a teen-girl drama, they didn't talk to her for Sabrina's sake.

On the way out, though, Bella said, "I'm voting for you. Not 'cause I like you or want you to like me. But I'm voting for you."
