I am terribly sorry for the delay. Here is a drabble and all the credit goes to a friend of mine. Umm...yeah that's it.

Treading Water

''Revy?'' his voice was smooth as it pulled her eyes to his. His charm; undeniable, his purity...what a sick joke. She told herself she had moved on, that she didn't need some self righteous son of a bitch. But every time she pictured a light it was him, it was always him. He was the knight on a white horse in her fairytale. Just...he was no knight and she was no princess...and this was sure as hell no fairy tale. And she knew it but still...she held on, trying to save the hint of what was left human inside her twisted, mangled mind. To save herself from sinking deeper into the darkness. Like someone would hold on to a plank in the middle of an ocean. But he was no plank, she realized that too late. He was just dead weight pulling her deeper, faster. So the answer was simple...let go...right? But she didn't, she couldn't. She held on. She held on because even if she sank faster, she slowed his descent. It was nothing sappy like true love, or a desire to save him, and no, she didn't have a sudden change of heart. She did it just because it made a difference.

'SHE made a difference.'

That's it for now. hopefully I'll write more.
