10.) I thought I could handle this. I was wrong
It was the Winter Equinox. I tapped into the power of Ophidian the Tempter, trying to use his power to save my dying wife. I was warned of what could happen I lose control of the power. I knew that I could do it. I knew that Nora's life depended on it, so I knew I could control it. I preformed the ritual outside a casino, as per the specifications of the ritual. I felt a sudden rush of energy and I knew the ritual worked.
9.) As soon as the rush was gone, I suddenly felt a hunger unlike any thing I've ever felt before in my life. I knew immediately that I had to feed so I used some of my new power to eat the casino. All of it. I felt slightly better, but not enough to stop being hungry. Then, I was able to regain control. Oh My God! What did I just do? i realize that I have to rush as fast as I can to the hospital because the Equinox is almost over. When I get to the hospital, I see all the injured people and the smell of flesh is too much for me to handle. I eat them all. It felt sooooo goooooodddd! I knew that it a wrong, deep down, but at that moment I didn't care. I climbed the stairs, to the second floor, and went right into Nora's room. I realized that the only way to save her now, was to give her the power. So I walk over to her bed and I lay my hand on her head. I funnel my power directly into her body. She smiles and says Thank you, sweetie and her smile turns more sinister and she envelopes me in a Purple light and I pass out, waking up in the ruins of the Casino
8.) The world ended right in front of me. It fell apart and shook the ground under our feet, buildings crumbled, taking people with it... "This was my fault. I caused this"
Opal city is destroyed, but luckily, Ophidian's power leaves her forever in Two Minutes. I can hardly wait as I count down the seconds. And then, the Equinox ends, and Ophidian should have left her Body. I run to her but looking into her eyes, I know immediately that she's not her. I run away in the other direction, towards my car, to go to the Wiccan Bunker where I got the ritual to begin with. They have to help me, for the survival of Humanity
